The Rotary Club of Richland County wrapped up another highly successful season of Rotary Lights in the Park, marking the event’s 15th year of spreading holiday cheer throughout the community. Visitors of all ages enjoyed the dazzling display of colorful lights, themed exhibits, and animated scenes, with many praising the show as the best yet.
Rotary Lights once again made a meaningful impact beyond the sparkle. Guests donated 4,265 pounds of food along with $5,650 in monetary contributions to benefit the Richland Community Food Pantry. Through the Rotary Club’s “Freezing for a Reason” program, volunteer groups staffed the entrance each night - welcoming guests and assisting with donations. In appreciation, the Rotary Club donated $100 for every night staffed to a local non-profit chosen by the volunteers. Thanks to this effort, $3,500 was donated to 20 local non-profit organizations, below are photos with some of the organizations.
