Redlands Visitor Center

Redlands Visitor Center The front door to our city connecting visitors & locals to Redlands’ history, arts, small businesses, and community events.

Through partnerships, local storytelling, and promotion across our platforms, we help people discover what makes Redlands special. Thanks to our donors, we are able to develop family Downtown events, as well as, new residents, tasting, walking, biking, running, hiking, driving, cultural and history tours. Enhancing the quality of life and community for residents and visitors will also assist in dr

iving visitor spending that supports the Redlands economy and the small business community. Your donation helps the Redlands Visitor Center connect people to authentic experiences that inspire them to stay in our exceptional community, for a day or lifetime.

In the spring of 1882, E.J. Waite planted the first orange grove on Center Street in Redlands. From there, Redlands became known as the “Navel Orange Capital of the World” for almost 75 years. This mural was done by Larry Dierdorff in 2002.

Uncle Manuel, a lifelong resident of Redlands, carries a deep pride in the community he’s helped shape over the years. Mr. Manuel Diaz fondly shares that he and his crew planted many of the trees that now line State Street—roots that have quite literally grown alongside the city.

His connection to Redlands doesn’t stop there. Each year, he proudly showcases his five classic cars at the beloved Redlands Firemen’s Car Show, continuing a tradition that reflects both his passion and his enduring spirit of community.

For Uncle Manuel, Redlands isn’t just where he lives—it’s a place he’s helped build, nurture, and celebrate for a lifetime.

Car show today, May 24 until 6pm. Downtown
