The Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) cleans up footage in real time during production so that the people in “Video Village” (ie producers) have something to watch that looks closer to the finished product.

The DIT also handles data on set, validating and processing memory cards. It’s a major responsibility, since loss of data means loss of time and money. Sometimes a data wrangler is hired to ease some of the burden.

Help them not worry or stress under time constraints but work peacefully and steadily. Help them not feel alone as they often work in isolation. Bring them the help they need if necessary. A couple of years after portraying the titular character in the movie Black Panther, actor Chadwick Boseman looked noticeably thinner in public appearances.

While some fans were genuinely concerned, others used this opportunity to spread rumors about Boseman, suggesting he might have an eating disorder or a drug addiction.

Sadly, the truth was far more heartbreaking. On August 28, 2020, Boseman’s family posted that he had passed away from colon cancer. Both fans and industry professionals were shocked—he never mentioned his diagnosis, and only a few people close to him knew about it.

Despite the public nature of being a celebrity, many actors prefer to keep their lives private. They do not owe anyone access to their personal lives, especially when it comes to health issues.

It is tempting to engage in online gossip and speculation when we see a photo that raises questions, but we would encourage you not to take part in that discourse. Instead, pray for the celebrity, since you don’t know the whole story. Thankfully, God knows all the details.
