One longtime friend, CEO of a major international media company, would meet with me whenever I was in New York. Over time, our conversations deepened. Though a devout man of faith with a Jewish background, one day he asked me a question that stopped me:
“What am I missing?”
I thought of the man who asked Jesus, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” (Mark 10:17). In that moment, I had the opportunity to share the truth: he needed a personal relationship with God that only comes through Jesus Christ.
And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
Mark 10:21
That conversation with the media CEO, who makes decisions about what is shown on millions of screens around the world, only happened because someone was present. Someone who would genuinely show him the love of Christ.
Moments like this remind me why Mastermedia’s mission matters. Without a Christian voice in their lives, many in this industry may never hear the gospel in a personal, meaningful way.
We need your help to continue and expand this important work.
