REDlands Friends Of Shelter Animals (REDFOSA) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports local Shelters through collaborative interventions. We are only able to pull dogs/cats at a very limited capacity and cannot take owner surrenders. REDFOSA is an all-volunteer non-profit group in the City of Redlands, CA. The specific purpose of this group is to save the lives of homeless pets in and around Redlands through coordination with Inland Empire animal shelters, regional shelter partners, animal rescue groups, veterinarians and trainers; through community education and awareness campaigns supporting pet adoptions, pet fostering, pet reunification, adoption counseling and adoption support, and the importance of spay/neuter; and through volunteer assistance to support offsite adoption events and fundraising campaigns that benefit animals in need. We operate solely on donations! Paypal: [email protected]

Hi Redfosa friends and family! We have another “gotcha day” being celebrated this month !
This one is from Tom Herron and his family:

“On Oct 28th we celebrate Major’s Gotcha Day! He was one of the pets of the week video dogs under the name Freddy. He’s been a wonderful addition to our family. His dna turned out as 50\50 Malinois and Husky but he is calm, was easy to train and loves being wherever we are at.” 🐾❤️

Freddy (now Major) was adopted from the Redlands Animal Shelter on Oct 28,2022 !
We thank you Tom and family for giving Major a new start in life and a loving family ! 🥰🐾

Good Morning loyal
Followers and Redfosa family !
With regards to the posts on this page and the sharing of animals from Redlands Shelter , we are sharing the pictures and the information given based on their intake cards and information shared by staff and volunteers. With regards to the breeds , we usually state mix , lab mix , pit mix etc as the actual breed especially on strays is unknown most of the time. The purpose of the page is to share the dogs with hopes that the publicity will help get them adopted . We are NEVER intentionally trying to misrepresent a breed or offend those that own breed specific dogs !
We appreciate your support and the loyalty that so many have shown by sharing the information!
Thank you for understanding!
