I’d like to take a moment to remind everyone why Chicks N Chaps exists. 💗

Our mission is simple: to support local individuals and families impacted by breast cancer while promoting the western lifestyle and sport of rodeo that bring our community together.

Because of your generosity, sponsorships, donations, and support of our events, we are able to provide grants to Shasta County breast cancer patients. These funds can help ease some of the financial burdens that often come with treatment and recovery.

✨ It does not matter where you receive treatment, If you are a Shasta County resident and are currently battling breast cancer, you may be eligible to apply.

District fairs, agriculture, and rodeo are woven together through a shared heritage of hard work, community, and rural tradition. The fairs showcase the heart of agriculture, giving farmers, ranchers, and youth the opportunity to display their livestock, crops, and agricultural achievements. Rodeos celebrate the skills and spirit that grew from ranching life, highlighting the talents of cowboys and cowgirls whose roots are deeply connected to the land and livestock. Together, fairs, agriculture, and rodeo preserve our history, educate future generations, and honor the dedication of those who help feed and sustain our communities. They are more than events—they are celebrations of the values, traditions, and people that make rural America strong. We thank everyone who attended Redding Rodeo this year and hope you get a chance to celebrate Agriculture and our rural life even more at the Shasta District fair running from 6/17/2026 to 6/21/2026

Selling out all THREE nights of rodeo performances proves one thing — the Redding Rodeo is here to stay. The support from our community and rodeo fans across the country continues to blow us away, and we could not do it without every single one of you.

This success also means the Redding Rodeo Association has officially set the bar higher than ever before. Now it’s time to continue improving and investing in our facilities so we can make the experience even better for generations to come.

Thank you for helping us continue the tradition of “Buckin’ by the River” and making memories that will last a lifetime.

We already can’t wait to see you all again May 12–15 for the 79th Annual Redding Rodeo!
