💔🙏 REMEMBERING SUZIE SMITH: ONE YEAR SINCE THE DEVASTATING ACCIDENT THAT TOOK THE LIFE OF A BELOVED REACH FLIGHT NURSE 💔🙏

Suzie died a hero, but she was already a hero before her tragic passing. She lived every day fully. She was a proud mother, a grandmother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She will always be dearly missed and remembered forever. 💕

Please keep her family, friends, and community in your thoughts and prayers 🙏

May she rest in peace 🕊️

Our Angel That Flies Foundation ✨shares:✨

Today marks one year since we received the devastating call about
Suzie's accident.
This past year has been an unexpected rollercoaster of emotions-grief, sadness, and moments where we still found reason to celebrate her incredible life. We have officially walked through a whole year of "firsts" that no one can ever truly prepare for.
Through it all, I could not be more proud of our community. The love and support you have shown to Suzie and our family has been overwhelming, and we could never thank you all enough.

As a family, we know we wouldn't have made it through this year without our faith and our relationship with God.
This journey has drawn us closer together and pulled us even closer to Him. I truly don't know how anyone navigates this kind of pain without walking hand-in-hand with the Lord every day.
To the families of REACH 16: we grieve alongside you, and please know that you remain in our prayers daily.
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

We are so thankful you were there and ready to respond when you were needed most. ❤️

💗🙏 8-YEAR-OLD ELLIE IS FIGHTING KIDNEY DISEASE — BAKE SALE THIS SATURDAY TO HELP! 🧁❤️ 🙏💗

PLEASE READ, PRAY 🙏, SHARE 📢 AND COME OUT AND SUPPORT IF YOU CAN!

Sweet little Ellie Bugg is only 8 years old and is battling kidney disease, and her community is coming together to help her and her family with her medical needs. 💗

A bake sale is being held this Saturday in Lewiston, CA, to help raise money for Ellie and her family. 🧁🍪❤️

Ellie is such a sweet little girl, and this is especially close to home because Katie Kasper’s son is one of Ellie’s classmates. ❤️ Katie reached out and shared Ellie’s story, and it’s one that deserves to be shared with our community.

Ellie is a sweet little girl who has been known by this local family since before she was even born, when her mom was pregnant with her. ❤️

Now, the community has an opportunity to surround this sweet little girl and her family with some extra love and support. 🙏💗

If you’re able to stop by the bake sale, grab some goodies and help support Ellie, every little bit can make a difference. 🧁❤️

Please keep Ellie and her family in your thoughts and prayers, and let’s show this sweet girl just how much her community cares. 🙏💗

Thank you to Katie Kasper for sharing Ellie’s story with Redding NOW. ❤️🙏

Please share to help spread the word! 📢

🍑🌽❤️ WAIT… DID YOU KNOW WHY JULIA’S FRUIT STAND IS ACTUALLY CALLED “JULIA’S”? ❤️🌽🍑

If you’ve ever stopped at Julia’s Fruit Stand, you might have wondered where the name Julia’s came from! Well, here’s a little piece of their family story that I think is SO COOL! 🥰

Julia’s Fruit Stand was started in 2001 by husband and wife James and Kathy Brandt, and they named the fruit stand after their first daughter, Julia. ❤️

But what makes the story even sweeter is that after Julia, their family grew even more, and they welcomed two more beautiful children, Jayne and Jordan. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧❤️

I absolutely LOVE that even though the stand is named after Julia, their whole family is represented. And now you can even get shirts representing Julia, Jayne and Jordan! 👕❤️ I think that is just the coolest thing and such a beautiful way to represent their family.

The Brandt family has been serving our community for 25 YEARS, and you can find them at 11475 Hwy 99E in Los Molinos. 📍🍑

I’ve personally been going to Julia’s for over 10 years, and it has always been one of my favorite places to stop! ❤️

And if you’re heading there, make sure you check out their shirts and hats too! 👕🧢 You definitely need to get yourself a hat! 😍

There’s just something special about supporting a local family business that has so much family, history and love behind it. ❤️🌽🍑

Did you know this? 👀

Thank you for supporting local! ❤️🙏

Our shelves are bare!
Our next Simple Gesture/Green Bag food pickup is happening THIS SATURDAY morning!
Right now, our pantry is running critically low, and we can use absolutely everything you can give.
If you have a green bag, please fill it to the very top with non-perishable food items and leave it out on your porch by 9:00 AM on Saturday.
Every single can, box, and jar makes a massive difference for our neighbors who are facing food insecurity.
Let’s work together to fill these shelves back up! 💚
