🎳 Strike Out Cancer — What a Success! 🎗️

This morning, Redding Community Builders had the incredible privilege of presenting Mercy Foundation North with the proceeds from our 2026 Strike Out Cancer Bowl-a-Thon! This year’s check totaled $13,049.05, surpassing our 2025 total!

This check represents the generosity of an amazing community that showed up, gave generously, sponsored, donated, bowled, and helped make this event such a success. We simply could not have done it without our incredible sponsors and participants!

A very special shoutout to our Bowl-a-Thon committee members — Rhonda Hanson, Sandy Smith, and Chris Goddard — who spent months working behind the scenes to bring it all together. Their time, energy, and dedication were invaluable!

It was also a pleasure to work closely with Haley Kennedy of Mercy Foundation North as part of our committee. Her input has helped shape the event, and this year she helped connect us with some of the doctors, nurses, and staff who will be providing care at this incredible center, making the mission behind the event feel even more tangible.

We are so proud of what our community accomplished together.

Happy Strike Out Cancer Bowl-a-Thon day folks! We are excited for today's event at Country Bowl! We do have ONE lane available, cost is $300 for 6 bowlers and 2+ hours of fun! Check in is at 2:00 pm. Taco bar lunch and shoe rental are included too. Some contributions to this year's event don’t fit neatly into a sponsorship category — but they deserve a BIG thank you all the same.

When we started dreaming up event shirts for this year’s event, Michael and Trevor jumped right into the idea with us.
