🍕☕🍔 FOOD VENDORS WANTED! 🍔☕🍕

Valley Girls & Guys! is currently seeking food & coffee vendors for our 8th Annual Be The Hope Walk on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at beautiful Lake Wilderness Park in Maple Valley.

This incredible community event brings together more than 1,000 participants, volunteers, sponsors, cancer survivors, patients & families as we walk to support those impacted by cancer.

We're looking for:
✅ Pizza vendors
✅ Burger vendors
✅ Coffee/espresso vendors

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business while supporting a meaningful cause. 💜

💜 Congratulations to our 2026 Tahoma Scholarship recipients, Sophia & Madison! 💜

Last week, we had the privilege of honoring two extraordinary young women whose lives have been deeply impacted by cancer, yet whose strength, resilience & courage continue to shine brightly.

Sophia shared the journey of watching her grandmother battle Stage 4 cancer & the impact it had on her entire family. Her words reminded us that, "Cancer doesn't just happen to one person. It touches everyone who loves them."

Madison courageously shared her experience of losing her father to chronic lymphocytic leukemia & beautifully reflected that, "Grief is not something that goes away but instead wanes & waxes like the moon."

Both essays moved our scholarship committee with their honesty, wisdom, compassion & perseverance. Through unimaginable challenges, these young women have demonstrated what it means to keep moving forward with hope & determination. We are incredibly proud to support Sophia & Madison as they begin their next chapter & pursue their dreams.

Who Dream #25 Valley Girls & Guys! teamed up with Les Schwab Tire Centers, KING 5, KING 5 Evening and New Day NW! Not only did Les Schwab Tire Centers gift $2800 for first months rent, Valley Girls & Guys! gifted last months rent, a house cleaning sponsored by Queen V's Cleaning Services PLUS we sent them to Honolulu Hawaii last Saturday May 30th for 7 days! They are still there now enjoying every single second of every single day! ALOHA Schwantes Family! We love you!
