WE NEED BOOKS AND PUZZLES!
We're planning some off site sales in August and have our big book sale at the library coming up in November. So we're trying to stock up! If you have good condition books and complete puzzles you no longer need, you can bring boxes to the Black Diamond Library!

A great book and soon to be on Netflix! Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt has local connections, beside being set in Seattle. I always advise reading the book but the movie will be streaming on Netflix May 8th! Don't miss it!

Shelby Van Pelt, who grew up in Tacoma, talks about her popular novel, working with Netflix to adapt it and more. The film begins streaming May 8 on Netflix.

We want to thank all of our donors for the success of our Plant Sale on May 2nd!

We had hard working volunteers, beautiful weather, a great turnout of buyers and a great selection of plants! Pine + Palm Coffee was on hand for great coffee and scones!

Here's the list of our donors - so many indie nurseries/garden centers!
> Covington Creek Nursery
> Earthworks Fuchsia Nursery (Fuchsia Farm)
> 13 Hens Farm
> GE & B Nursery
> Hobart Farms Nursery
> Free The Green
> Hanging Gardens Native Plant Farm in Black Diamond
> Fred Meyer Garden Center in Maple Valley
> Johnsons Home and Garden
> 300 Trees Project
> King County Conservation District
> Home Depot in Covington
(Note - FB would not let me tag everyone! Apparently you can tag too many people and they block the post. Who knew?! 🙄)

Plus the local gardeners who took the time to pot up their plants for the sale - special shout out to Lisa and Caryn!

Thank you to everyone who participated - including all of the gardener buyers who turned out in force!! 💐🌞🌻👏💪
