I know it is going to be hot, but we plan on going to North Ridge Cemetary to pick up about 1000 cemetary flags tonight, Tuesday, July 14th at 6pm. Bring a bottle of water and get a nice easy stroll in and help us collect flags.
It would go pretty quick the more volunteers we have and;

Today is July 1st! Don't be the only house on the road not flying an American Flag for the 4th of July, 250 years after our birth. Your American Legion Post 830 sells American made flags. You can call me at 716-409-0190 to purchase a flag or go to Knead the Dough Restaurant in Ransomville and ask one of their great servers to get you one.

New York State Veteran Service Officers will be handing out $50.00 vouchers at the Wilson Farmer's Market located behind Brownies Custard Stand tomorrow, June 30th, 2026, 4:30-7:30PM.

Flag Day Parade, Saturday June 13th at 11am. Starts at Ransomville American Legion and endings at the Library.

Be sure to visit the library ground for the Annual Community Fair.
We will be manning a membership table along with VFW 313 from Youngstown.

Thank You to all the volunteers who helped place flags last week. Without you this important honoring would not be able to continue. We placed about 1500 flags at various cemeteries in our area.

Tomorrow, Memorial Day, we will have a short ceremony and flag lowering to 1/2 mast withs Taps at 8am. All are welcome to observe and participate.

It's that time of year again. We will be putting out flags at several cemetaries to honor our fallen heros.
We will start Monday, May 18th at Mt. View Cemetary (across from Pekin Fire Hall) at 9am.
On Thursday, May 21st at 6pm we will be at North Ridge Cemetary on Church Street to put in over 1000 flags. Volunteers are greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who donated a toy for our Niagara County Veteran's Toy Drive. We were able to give toys to two local charities with the remainder of the toys delivered to The US Marine Reserves "Toys for Tots" Program.
