The John Fiore Foundation

The John Fiore Foundation The John Fiore Foundation was founded in 2009, incorporated in 2019 & received its 501c3 status in 2020. Honoring a Hero. Serving the Community. The John J.

Our Mission: Enhancing the quality of life in Western New York by donating to individuals, families
& community programs in honor of our hero, John. Fiore Memorial Golf Tournament was founded in 2009 by the family and friends of John Fiore to honor his memory after his tragic passing on Flight 3407 in Clarence, New York, on February 12, 2009. In 2019, the event was formally incorporated as The Jo

hn Fiore Foundation, and we proudly received 501(c)(3) status in 2020. John dedicated his life to his family and his country, serving with distinction for 30 years in both the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force. A true patriot, he fought for our freedom in Vietnam, Desert Storm, and completed two tours in the Iraqi War. John retired from active duty in 2006 as a Chief Master Sergeant, the highest enlisted rank in the Air Force. He was looking forward to retiring from his civilian job at Washington Mills in 2011. He is our hero, and his absence is deeply felt every day. John had a heart for helping others, especially children. He led numerous fundraisers for Oishei Children's Hospital and supported many local causes close to his heart. Thanks to your unwavering kindness, generosity, and belief in our mission, we have donated over $765,341 through December 2025. This includes:
$300,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York
$78,750 to WNY Heroes
$40,000 to SABAH, Inc.
$15,000 to Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue
$12,690 to Bloneva Bond Primary School
$318,901 to various organizations, families, and individuals in our community
We are incredibly humbled by your continued support. You are the reason we can carry on John's legacy and give back to the Western New York community in meaningful ways. From the bottom of our heartsโ€”thank you. Recognition & Community Impact:

๐Ÿ’› National Su***de Prevention Month โ€“ September ๐Ÿ’›

At The John Fiore Foundation, we recognize the importance of mental health and the impact of su***de on families and communities. Every life is valuable, and every person struggling deserves support, understanding, and hope.

This month, we encourage everyone to reach out, check in on loved ones, and know that help is available. Together, we can break the stigma, save lives, and remind each other that no one has to face their struggles alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please call or text 988 โ€“ the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

๐ŸŽ—๏ธ Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month โ€“ September ๐ŸŽ—๏ธ

At The John Fiore Foundation, we honor the brave children and families facing pediatric cancer every single day. These young fighters show incredible courage, and their families carry challenges no one should endure alone.

This month, we encourage our community to raise awareness, support research, and stand with these children and their families. Wear gold, share their stories, and help make a difference. ๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿ’™ September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’™

Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among men in the U.S., yet when caught early, itโ€™s often treatable. This month, we encourage all men to take charge of their healthโ€”get your yearly bloodwork, schedule regular checkups, talk with your doctor about screening, and donโ€™t ignore the signs.

At The John Fiore Foundation, we believe in supporting awareness, education, and hope. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected.

Letโ€™s spread the word, support one another, and remind the men we love that early detection saves lives. ๐Ÿ’™
