A HUGE thank you to all of our Wildewood families who came out to Popsicle in the Park for our Back-to-School Night! We loved seeing so many familiar faces and getting to kick off another amazing school year together. 🥳

A special THANK YOU to Applewood Hy-Vee for generously donating the popsicles for our event! 🍧 Your support of Wildewood means so much to us and helped make the evening extra sweet! 🧡

And a big thank you to Kona Ice for joining us and bringing even more fun to the evening! 🍧🧊 We are so grateful you came out to celebrate with our Wildewood families!

Thank you to everyone who took time out of your evening to join us, enjoy a treat, and help make the night so special. We are so excited for the 2026–2027 school year and all the fun we have planned!

DONUTS ON THE BLACKTOP
We’re so excited to welcome our students back on the first day of school with a fun donut breakfast!

We’re looking for a few volunteers to help make the morning a success by assisting with setup, passing out donuts and drinks, and cleaning up afterward. The event only lasts about 45 minutes and wraps up at 8:00 a.m. when students head to class.

If you’re able to lend a hand, we’d be so grateful for your help in making the first day extra special for our students!

¡Nos hace mucha ilusión dar la bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes en el primer día de clases con un divertido desayuno de donas!

Buscamos algunos voluntarios que ayuden a que la mañana sea un éxito colaborando en el montaje, repartiendo donas y bebidas, y recogiendo todo al finalizar. El evento dura solo unos 45 minutos y termina a las 8:00 a. m., momento en que los estudiantes se dirigen a clase.

Si puede echar una mano, ¡le agradeceríamos enormemente su ayuda para hacer que el primer día sea muy especial para nuestros estudiantes!

We’re so excited to welcome our staff back into the building on August 6th and kick off a fantastic new school year together! To help start the year on a fun and delicious note, we’ll be providing a light breakfast for staff. PTO will be supplying bagels and coffee, and we’d love to add a yogurt parfait bar and a few other tasty breakfast treats to make the morning extra special.

We’re looking for donations to help make it all happen. Please take a look at the sign-up slots below and pitch in where you can. Donations can be dropped off at school on August 5th between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or by 7:30 a.m. on August 6th.

Thank you for helping us give our staff a warm and exciting start to the new school year!

¡Estamos muy entusiasmados por recibir nuevamente a nuestro personal en la escuela el 6 de agosto e iniciar juntos un fantástico año escolar! Para comenzar el año de una manera divertida y deliciosa, ofreceremos un desayuno ligero para el personal. La asociación de padres y maestros (PTO) proporcionará *bagels* y café, y nos encantaría añadir una barra de *parfaits* de yogur y otras delicias para hacer la mañana aún más especial.

Who needs coffee when you can have FUNDAY? We are looking for a couple of parent volunteers tomorrow(5/19) from 8:45-11am to wrangle some kiddos and make magic happen! Care to join the chaos? And by chaos we mean the most fun possible!!

¿Quién necesita café cuando puede tener un FUNDAY? Buscamos un par de padres voluntarios para mañana (19/5), de 8:45 a 11:00 a. m., para mantener a raya a los peques... ¡y hacer que surja la magia! ¿Se animan a unirse al caos? ¡Y cuando decimos caos, nos referimos a la diversión más absoluta!

Thank you, Wildewood Elementary School, for such a great turn out for the end of the year BBQ. We absolutely couldn't not have made it happen without parent volunteers. The turn out for our Wildewood family events has increased this year...which is a great problem to have. We apologize to anyone that had to wait for more hotdogs to arrive. We appreciate you hanging out with us!

Wildewood Elementary School we need parent volunteers in order to be able to have the end of the year BBQ this Thursday. If we cannot fill the volunteers, we will have to cancel. Please help if you are able!

Yearbooks can be ordered and delivered to school if ordered by 4/30. If ordered after 4/30 they will be shipped to their house (at an extra cost).
