For many men with cystic fibrosis, infertility is a diagnosis they never see coming. Nearly 98% of men with CF are born without a vas deferens, often discovering their infertility years later when they're ready to start a family.

During Men's Health Month, World Infertility Awareness Month, and Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Week, we're recognizing the often-overlooked realities of male infertility and the emotional impact it can have on individuals and families.

We’re excited to share that Filotimo founder, Pete Proimos, will be joining Worth The Wait Charity, RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association and The Cade Foundation as a guest speaker on a virtual panel: How Men Can Show Up During IVF.

June is World Infertility Awareness Month, an important time to highlight these conversations, share stories, and bring more awareness to infertility, especially within the CF community.

Growing up with CF meant missing some of the childhood experiences many people take for granted, like playing in leaf piles, swimming in indoor pools, and going to water parks.

These are the kinds of moments that often become core memories for others, but look different or are not possible for those living with CF.

During Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, we continue sharing lived experiences that reflect what life with CF really looks like. Thank you, Skylar, for sharing your story.
