Here's one more look into this Sunday's Master Chorale Youth Choir concert!

The Youth Choir will be holding the North Carolina premiere of Timothy Takach's "We Are Phoenix" on Sunday, May 17th at 7pm in Stewart Theatre on NC State's campus. Through poetry from multiple authors, We Are Phoenix illuminates the analogy between humans and our planet: we both suffer loss and devastation and yet rise again and again, becoming stronger each time. This immersive performance will feature projections, a string ensemble, and dancers alongside the 70+ voice choir and is not a concert you want to miss!

Know Before You Go!

We Are Phoenix is taking place this Sunday, May 17th at Stewart Theatre on NC State's campus. The box office opens at 6pm, with house doors opening at 6:30pm and the concert beginning at 7pm.

There is free parking on the weekends in the Coliseum Parking Deck, as well as the Jeter Drive parking bay and nearby street parking. Stewart Theatre is located on the 3rd floor of Talley Student Union. Accessible parking is available in the Jeter Drive parking lot and on Cates Avenue. Patron drop offs can happen at the Talley Student Union's Technology Tower on Dunn Ave.

There are adjacent free parking lots available (on Fairview Road off of Stone St and Reid St) as well as nearby street parking. The closest and most accessible entrance to the performance space is off of Stone St.

This immersive concert will not only feature our 80-voice Youth Choir, but also includes projections, dancers, and a string ensemble. Definitely not a concert to be missed!
