The Brothers of Widow's Son Lodge #4 proudly hosted our annual Memorial Scholarship Presentation on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 12:30 PM.

The program began with an opening prayer offered by PM Kernis Shaw Jr., followed by a brief history of Widow's Son Lodge #4 and an overview of our commitment to serving the community. We also highlighted the continued growth of our Scholarship Committee and shared how, over the past three years, we have remained committed to awarding scholarships to deserving high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students as they pursue their educational goals.

This year, we were especially honored to present two Memorial Scholarships to outstanding recipients who are both daughters of our lodge brothers. Their academic excellence, leadership, and exceptional scholarship essays made them truly deserving of this recognition.

2026 Memorial Scholarship Recipients:

- Jada Doctor, daughter of Bro. Johnny Doctor
- Alauna Rouse, daughter of Bro. Samuel Rouse

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Jada and Alauna and wish them continued success as they pursue higher education.

The presentation concluded with photographs of the recipients, their families, and members of the lodge, which I hope will be shared on our website and social media platforms.

Congratulations once again to our scholarship recipients, and thank you to PM Kernis Shaw Jr., the Scholarship Committee, the families, and everyone who helped make this year's Memorial Scholarship Presentation a success.
