Happy National LGBT Center Awareness Day! 🏳️‍🌈💜

Today we're showing some extra love to LGBTQ+ community centers everywhere, including our very own here in Raleigh!

Every week, people walk through our doors looking for resources, support, or simply a place where they can be themselves.. and we're proud to be here for them.

From our weekly drop-in hours to our community programs and support services, there's so much happening at the Center, and we want to keep it that way!

Loved Paris Is Burning? Then you NEED to see Kiki!

We're keeping the ballroom history going on October 21 with a screening of Kiki, a documentary that follows LGBTQ+ youth of color making their mark on NYC's ballroom scene.

Our friends at Alt Shift Collective will be there, and we're making a night of it! ✨

Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged, and we'll be giving a prize to the best dressed attendee. So don't be shy!

This LGBTQ+ History Month, we're celebrating the community we've built together and the people who continue to make this work possible.

Our Executive Director, Kori (they/them), is coming up on 10 years with the Center! 🥹 That's nearly a decade of showing up for Raleigh's LGBTQ+ community, navigating challenges, celebrating milestones, and helping the Center become what it is today.

We sat down with Kori to hear what makes this work so meaningful to them, some of the impact they've witnessed over the years, and why they believe supporting LGBTQ+ organizations matters now more than ever.

We're teaming up with Fact Forward and Wake County to host a community listening session focused on youth behavioral health. We want to hear directly from young people about their experiences.
