Triangle Pride Band

Triangle Pride Band A community band program in Raleigh, NC, for LGBTQ and allied musicians in the Triangle region of NC Participation is free!

The Triangle Pride Band intends to promote music as a medium of communication among people, provide high quality music for the community, and be ambassadors of the LGBT community. We’re currently looking for members with all levels of musical experience, as well as individuals interested in being involved in the organization’s leadership. Events include the following:

• Out Raleigh!
• Raleigh Chr

istmas Parade
• Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade
• Various pride parades in other cities and other events locally

It should be noted that participation in all events is not mandatory for membership in the Triangle Pride Band. We're a fun group of people and we hope you'll join us!

We’re turning 10 on June 18th! Our anniversary concert on the 27th will be one big party to celebrate, and it’s not a birthday party without gifts. If you want to support Triangle Pride Band’s mission to elevate q***r joy and the performing arts, consider signing up as a recurring donor today. This weekend we welcomed Katahj Copley to our Symphonic Band rehearsal to collaborate on his work commissioned for our 10th Anniversary Concert this June! He will also be spending time with local area band programs during his time in the Triangle. We were excited to have him with us and hear his feedback as we worked on his piece!
