Our boat captains - the ones who rise with the sun, or before, chauffeur hormonal teens to the lake only to get stuck on a boat with them all day, the ones who splurge on gear so their team is decked out in style, the ones who somehow decipher the mysterious language of the young, the ones who get bonked on the head by flying jigs and still manage to smile, the ones who become part of the family, the ones who answer late-night calls without complaint, the ones who cheer and criticize with equal enthusiasm, you are our heroes. Thank you doesn’t quite say enough, but we could not be more grateful for each one of you, and what you brought to our team this season. You made a HUGE difference and we appreciate you:

We would like to congratulate Holden Westmoreland and Hudson Young for securing these notable fishing scholarships. Holden was awarded the Tawakoni Bass Club and Texas High School Bass Association scholarships, totaling $1750, while Hudson received the Texas High School Bass Association scholarship, totaling $750. We appreciate the opportunity provided to our students by both organizations!💙

Less than 24 hours after his chemo treatment, Carson, Landon (his high school fishing partner), and Captain Kevin Hargis were able to fish in the Quinlan ISD Education Foundation tournament where they presented him with a check for $776. He is a trooper for sure and pushed through some sickness to finish this event. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported both Carson, and the Quinlan ISD Education Foundation. We will post more pictures next week.

Thank you does not seem fitting for all the support given to Carson over the past two months. So many people have showered him, his family & friends in love, prayers and support. In a world full of negativity, we have experienced the kindness, compassion, and generosity of our community, and beyond!
