The QISD Education Foundation is thrilled to announce that Lauren Mosley has joined our Board of Directors! 💙🐾

We are especially grateful to see our young alumni and local families stepping up to take on key leadership roles in Quinlan ISD! Lauren is a QISD graduate who met her high school sweetheart, Colton, right here in school. Married for 12 years, they are raising three proud young Panthers—Rohen, Noah, and Nellie—who attend QISD schools and play local youth sports! 🏈✨

A local hairstylist for 14 years, Lauren has spent her career building relationships and making people feel loved, valued, and seen. Now, as her husband Colton serves on the QISD School Board, Lauren is stepping up to lend her own heart and passion to the Education Foundation!

Here is a special message from Lauren:

"I’m proud to be from Quinlan—it’s where my people are, where we’re raising our children, and building our future. My heart is to give back to the community and help create opportunities for the next generation. It’s important to me to help our students and staff have the ultimate experience in the Quinlan School District so that wherever they end up in life, they hold onto fond memories of their childhood and time at QISD."

🎉 WELCOME TO THE BOARD! 🎉

The QISD Education Foundation is thrilled to announce the addition of Cindy Keck Donahue to our Board of Directors! 💙🐾

Cindy is a true hometown Panther through and through. She has called Quinlan home for over 50 years, graduated from QISD, raised her children here, and worked for nearly 30 years at A.E. Butler Intermediate School! Her family roots run deep—her father, Mr. Wayne Keck, was a legendary lifelong Panther fan.

In an incredible full-circle moment, Cindy is now serving on the board alongside three of her former students! 🎓✨

Here is a special message from Cindy:

"My goal is simple: to continue supporting the children of this community and helping provide them with the opportunities, encouragement, and resources they need to be successful. As I have always said: 'Teamwork makes the DREAM work!' I look forward to continuing to help the students of our community achieve their dreams!"

⛳️ THAT’S A WRAP! The 21st Annual QISD Education Foundation Golf Tournament was a RESOUNDING SUCCESS! 🎉

On behalf of the QISD Education Foundation Board of Directors, THANK YOU to all of our incredible golfers, generous sponsors, volunteers, and supporters!

We had a record-breaking turnout of 22 Four-Man Teams out at Deer Run Golf Club! The energy on the course was fantastic, and thanks to your support—especially everyone who bought mulligans, pink tees, and raffle tickets—we raised vital funds that directly impact our schools.

This year alone, the Foundation funded $55,000 for QISD teacher instructional grants, student enrichment summer camps, and district programs! 🎓💙

🏛️ Celebrating Decades of Giving Back in Hunt County - Today in Quinlan! 🏛️

A huge thank you to the F. L. Young Foundation for their incredible generosity and continuous support of our schools through our partner organization, the Quinlan ISD Education Foundation! We are thrilled to accept a wonderful $3,000 check to help further our mission of providing student enrichment grant opportunities. This grant in particular was written to help grow the giving this year of the student enrichment grant program. Because of support like the F.L. Young Foundation, the QISD Education Foundation increased student giving from $10,000 - $15,000 this year.

Representing the F.L. Young Foundation is Hunt County native, retired educator, and current Crisis Center of Northeast Texas Director of Engagement, Amy Melton.

For decades—with a rich history of annual giving dating all the way back to the 1940s—the F. L. Young Foundation has been a steadfast pillar of our community. Their mission is deeply rooted in uplifting Hunt County, making a lasting impact in towns like Greenville, Quinlan, Commerce, and our surrounding areas.

Through their enduring dedication, they continue to champion vital causes across our community:

Basic Needs & Social Services: Providing critical food assistance, health services, and resources for our most vulnerable neighbors.

Child Welfare & Youth Development: Supporting local youth programs and protective services.

Community & Culture: Funding the fine arts, local theaters, museums, and educational initiatives that keep our culture thriving.

Your support is helping to fund 17 students to attend college theater camps, the International Thespian Festival for invited thespians, a sports camp, band camps, and more. QISD Fine Arts programming is stellar, and many of these children would not be able to grow in their passion without the student enrichment grant program.
