The THSBA is a non-profit organization whose
goal is to provide a venue where high school
students have the opportunity to compete in
organized tournaments while establishing
strict guide lines and academic standards that
will allow students to excel It was the work of 6 very dedicated team advisors in the North East Texas region. We launched the idea in august of 2013 with 8 schools particip

ating and as of the end of the 2020-2021 season, we now have 273 member schools with just under 3,000 student members, with more calling everyday looking to join. What started with one division has now grown to 9 divisions statewide for the upcoming 2021-2022 season, with plans to add a college trail beginning in October of 2021. This past season we were able to award over $320,000 in scholarships and an additional $180,000 in awards and prizes. 🐟🏆 THSBA SHARELUNKER RECOGNITION 🏆🐟

The Texas High School Bass Association is proud to recognize the two largest fish entered into the Toyota ShareLunker Program during THSBA competition this season!

These outstanding catches not only represent incredible angling achievements, but they also contribute to one of Texas’ most important fisheries conservation programs.

• Girth: 19.25”

🥈 Jacob Benge
• Weight: 10.42 lbs
• Length: 24.75”
• Girth: 19.75”

As a special recognition, both anglers will receive a custom replica mount of their fish, generously provided by fw_walton. The replicas will be presented during the Toyota ShareLunker Banquet in October.

🏆 2026 THSBA State Championship Recap 🏆

What an incredible weekend on Lake Texoma!

Thank you to all of the anglers, captains, parents, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who helped make the 2026 THSBA State Championship a success. From practice day through the final weigh-in, it was an outstanding showcase of high school bass fishing in Texas.

This year’s State Championship awarded $68,000 in scholarships along with more than $4,000 in sponsor gift cards and prizes, creating life-changing opportunities for student anglers across the state.

Thanks to Gilchrist Outdoors, anglers are competing for scholarships and prizes in the FishKid Casting Contest.
