Texas High School BASS Association Texas High School Bass Association was started with the hopes of getting more young adults interested in the outdoors.

The THSBA is a non-profit organization whose
goal is to provide a venue where high school
students have the opportunity to compete in
organized tournaments while establishing
strict guide lines and academic standards that
will allow students to excel It was the work of 6 very dedicated team advisors in the North East Texas region. We launched the idea in august of 2013 with 8 schools participating and as of the end of the 2020-2021 season, we now have 273 member schools with just under 3,000 student members, with more calling everyday looking to join. What started with one division has now grown to 9 divisions statewide for the upcoming 2021-2022 season, with plans to add a college trail beginning in October of 2021. This past season we were able to award over $320,000 in scholarships and an additional $180,000 in awards and prizes. 🎁 ANNUAL THSBA TOY DRIVE 🎁

Help us bring some extra joy to children this holiday season! The annual THSBA Toy Drive will take place at the final fall tournament in each division.

Bring a new, unwrapped toy to check-in or weigh-in on your division’s designated date. Each toy donated earns one ticket for a chance to win:

🎣 A Lew’s Custom Pro Reel
or
🎁 An Academy dry bag filled with Strike King baits

Only two names will be drawn at each tournament, with one winner receiving each prize. You must be present to win, and each person may win only once.

Bayou City Division anglers fishing Lake Limestone: Due to the predicted weather Saturday, we are moving Friday check-in, Saturday morning check-in, and Saturday afternoon weigh-in to:

Please review the updated Tournament Information Page in the THSBA App or on our website before heading to the event.

The Metroplex Division event on Lake Ray Roberts and the Central Division event on Lake Tawakoni will keep their current locations.

💨 Captains: Wind conditions and direction are expected to change throughout the day. Monitor the weather and consider how those changes will affect travel to your fishing locations and your return to the ramp.

🚤 All three events are trailering tournaments. You may launch at any ramp on your tournament lake. You may also load your boat and trailer to another ramp during the day to access a different area of the lake.

Plan ahead, make safe travel decisions, and keep your anglers’ safety the priority!

THSBA hosted three tournaments this past weekend, awarding a combined $34,060 in prizes, with $13,100 of that total paid out in scholarships to our student anglers! 🎓
