All...The June HCHA Show is still on as of now. The Show is over 3 weeks away and it is a bit early to cancel. The Civic Center is taking all precautions to ensure they are totally sanitized. Below is a statement from Texas Health Commission. I have also attached a link below to the Texas Animal Health Commission statement on this matter.

To all of those who have a little bit of a panic attack due to the EHV-1 outbreak in the NORTHERN states. We have spoken with Hopkins Co Civic Center and they will be doing a thorough cleaning/sanitization of all the stalls and surrounding arena area. Also please note that there have been no cases found in Texas or our surrounding states.

HCHA would like to send out Prayers to all those in the Cash area between Hwy 34 and Hwy 69 that may have suffered any damage or loss in the Tornado that occurred early Monday Morning. Please keep all these folks in this area in your prayers as there was a lot of damage and fortunately no loss of life!

We would like to thank everyone for coming to the show this past weekend! It went extremely well. We had alot of horses and we gave out not just some great prizes but also ALOT of AQHA Points. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next show May 14th!

Want to thank everyone for attending the 1st HCHA show of the year. There was a huge turn. The barn and parking lots was packed to the gills. Want to thank Smith Brothers, Horse and Rider, Cowboy Magic, Schneiders, and Mitchells for the prizes they donated for the class raffles. Along with all our Silver, Gold and Platinum Sponsors! THANK YOU SO MUCH for your support.

Early registration will be available on Friday nite. Also we will be having chilli for our friday nite potluck meal. Remember if you are needing a stall to please call Angie @ 214-641-9582 or Tara @ 903-268-1127. We are filling up fast in our barn. But will have stall available in the other barn if we get full.
