Salute to Coach J Hunt for his Support , participation , enthusiasm and presence supporting the students in comroderie with the fathers. He like most of the fathers were determined to showcase their abilities as well experience playing the game. There was some friendly banter and competition, yet still a community affair all through the sense of fathers day appreciation.

Salute to Coach wells has guided so many students, not just in their Athletic aspirations but educational aspiration as well.

Showing the young guard the basics and fundamentals.

Not Manny words we can say but thank you. He has been teaching and training student athletes for over 2 decades. (20 years plus) Back in the SSJA days, he would bring down the large jug of Gatorade and let of kids come in and work on their game. All players & talent levels get runs in, his team would be included in playing the older guys to get prepared for their season and non league games. CYO is a legendary organization that was the start for many students athletes all over the city. This is our Story and continuation of Paying it forward.

Special Shout out to williegreen355 Willie Green III for their commitment to our program along with our passionate perspective. Salute tomp 𝑫𝑱 𝑷𝑹𝒀𝑴𝑬𝑻𝒀𝑴𝑬 for the collective effort pushing the students and explaining the real in game situations they would have to proper for when it comes to preparation and productivity. Salute and special shout out to Bryan Klassic Veney for the content, vision and videography. He can transform the great work we do into the digital language that brigdes the gaps in generations.

Focus: Bridging our hand eye coordination with our Footwork

After a certain age we must express the importance of keeping your head up, Dribbling under control & protecting the ball.

Most importantly is keeping your head up!!! Students how would you read the defense, read your offensive gaps and advantages, make the right pass or adjust your teammates in the right spaces if we LOOK AT THE FLOOR?????

Analogy we use with students in Conversation:

COACH:" Do you play video games?"

STUDENT: "Yes ofcourse, I love video games"

COACH: Cool, Now when you play video games do you look at the controller, or do you look at the screen.

STUDENT: (Give a puzzled yet sarcastic look) I look, like Screen Duhh....

COACH: EXACTLY, SO Apply that here. The hoop is like your screen and your dribbling is the controller. LOOK AT THE SCREEN!!

STUDENTS RESPONSE: OHHHHH THAT MAKE SENSE πŸ’‘πŸ’‘πŸ’‘πŸ’‘πŸ’‘πŸ“ΊπŸ’‘πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£

Many Times we have to utilize fundemental knowledge within a different perspective so it translates the same in a different generation.

This Summer has been a message. A eessage towards perseverance, a message towards productivity, a message towards staying on the grind and leaving the stresses and doubters behind. This journey has been about a message towards our ambition. The ambition to be great, and emulate while generating the power from within while so many cant even concentrate. This journey is about a message, not just in wins and Losses but in getting better daily.
