THE NYC FIREFIGHTER BROTHERHOOD FOUNDATION WILL FOCUS ON SELF RELIANCE THROUGH FIREFIGHTERS HELPING FIREFIGHTERS. WE WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE ALONG WITH MORAL AND PHYSICAL SUPPORT. WE CAN PROVIDE STRENGTH, COMFORT AND GUIDANCE TO ANYONE WHO HAS TAKEN ILL. OUR FOUNDATION WILL STRIVE TO OBTAIN AND HAVE ON HAND THE NECESSARY INFORMATION THAT IS NEEDED IN A TIME OF CRISIS. WITH T

HAT IN MIND, WE WILL EDUCATE MEMBERS AS IT RELATES TO THEIR HEALTH AND WELFARE. OUR FOUNDATION WILL ALSO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF THE ILLNESSES THAT WE WILL ALL FACE, TOGETHER.

FDNY members, family and friends gathered Thursday for a clap-out ceremony for Fire Marshal Christopher Cuccaro, who was released from Staten Island University Hospital.
Fire Marshal Cuccaro was injured while operating at a 2-alarm fire and explosion on May 22 at 3075 Richmond Terrace on Staten Island. FM Cuccaro’s K-9, Judge, was cleared of any injuries during the explosion and was there for his handler’s release from the hospital.

A Boston firefighter has died following a fall from the third floor of a burning home in the city's Dorchester neighborhood Saturday night.

Robert "Bobby" T. Kilduff Jr., of Rescue Co. 2, suffered severe injuries in the fall at 18 Treadway Road and died at Boston Medical Center despite the best efforts of firefighters on scene, Boston EMS and the hospital staff, Boston Fire Commissioner Rodney Marshall announced at a news conference around midnight. Rest in Peace
