Day #4 at Camp Galilee included:
-Replacing more mattresses in cabins
-Setting up tables & chairs in the dining hall
-Sweeping the dining hall
-Helping hang lights around the tabernacle
-Looking for snakes to “snipe” in the water with gravel to protect Mrs. Coy from (of course, with permission from the camp)
-Loading up for home
-Braum’s ice cream pit stop
-Devotional on the bus because ice cream and Braum’s being cold didn’t mix
-So many laughs & smiles
-Too many snacks
-Being soaked to the bone running from the bus to cars when we got home due to the monsoon in Purdy

Day #3 at Camp Galilee included:
-Checking and replacing 30+ mattresses in cabins
-Clearing brush around the boat house
-Clearing out a culvert
-Setting up 9 square
-Sweeping the new workers’ cabin
-Torturing Mrs. Coy and Dr. Graham
-Hiking
-Challenge Course
-Sponsors being goofy kids again
-Napping
-Making videos for camp
-Helping camp staff with pool training
-Celebrating our pretty princess Dr. Graham’s birthday early. We are so thankful that he is willing to come on mission trip, have a servant’s heart, and deliver us safely. Thanks Debby & Dennis Blankenship for your help in pulling this surprise off.

Day #2 at Camp Galilee included:
-Picking up bunches of sticks from the recent storms, with a few rocks thrown in
-Sweeping and wiping by down 18 cabins in preparation for camps to start Monday
-Sweeping and wiping down the Tabernacle
-Setting up the most epic slip-n-slide
-Enjoying Mrs. Coy’s Momma B’s amazing from scratch brownies two ways and cranberry, white chocolate cake mix cookies Thank you Debby and Dennis Blankenship!
-A few epic games of Gaga ball

Middle School Mission Trip To Camp Galilee Update:

Middle School parents/guardians of students attending the mission trip to Camp Galilee, due to the rainy forecast, please send your student with rain gear such as a hooded jacket, poncho, and extra socks/shoes/clothes. We do not plan on intentionally working outside in the rain, but we might be outside a little bit.

Also do not forget to pack your green FCA shirt for a group picture on Saturday as we come home!

We had 70 students for our last FCA Wednesday of the 2025/2026 school year! It does not seem possible that our Eagles will be soaring out of our hallways at the end of this week.

We talked about next year's theme
Students will be voting today and tomorrow on plans for next year.

Thank you The First Free Will Baptist Church of Purdy for our yummy donuts!

God is so good! We are so thankful for our community and all they do to support our group. They are a beautiful blessing and extension of Christ’s love through all of their support. We are blessed beyond measure.

FCA is excited to announce where both our middle school and high school students will be serving on mission trips this summer! Students have known for a while where we are going, but we know how much our community loves and cares for our students.

🟢 Middle School Mission Trip
📍 Camp Galilee – El Dorado Springs, MO
📅 Wednesday, May 20th – Saturday, May 23rd
🙏 Community Prayer Send Off: Wednesday, May 20th at 8:45 am

🔵 High School Mission Trip
📍 Mission Arlington/ Mission Metroplex– Arlington, TX
📅 Monday, June 22nd – Friday, June 26th
🙏 Community Prayer Send Off: Monday, June 22nd at 7:20 am

Our students will spend these weeks serving others, growing in their faith, and making a difference through hands-on ministry opportunities. We are thankful for the chance for students to step out and serve together!

Please be praying for these students and sponsors as they prepare for these mission trips. Soon, we will be posting ways that you can “sponsor” a student by praying for them both prior to and during the mission trips. We will be having community prayers before we send these students and sponsors off to share the love of Jesus.

Check out these amazing places and all they do to spread the love of Jesus Christ!
