Two students needed shoes today. We were able to get them a fresh pair of socks and a brand new pair of shoes within 10 minutes. Their smiles and comments were so sweet. I ran into one student in the hallway later in the day…she hugged me and said thank you, again. She then added, I’m pretty sure I’m going to be able to jump higher in these shoes. This is what it’s all about! 💚🦅

This year, Care to Learn helped meet students’ essential health, hunger, and hygiene needs, ensuring barriers did not stand in the way of learning. Through caring partnerships and quick support, students and families received resources that helped them feel safe, supported and ready to succeed. To our staff members and community partners, we say THANK YOU! This year’s support made a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and families in the Purdy School District. 💚🦅

The National Honor Society students at Purdy High School pack our weekend food bags. The last picture is Grace Logan, a senior. She comes in each week and sets up the tables and food for quick and easy packing. Grace does a fantastic job! We appreciate Mrs. Cornelius, who spearheads the food bag program, and the students who help make it happen!

A student just happened to ask one of our Care to Learn liaisons to tie his shoe in the hallway. The holes the shoestrings should go through were broken. She was able to walk him down to our resource room and put him in a brand new pair of shoes before school even started. 💚🦅
