We’re so grateful for CSU football team for picking us to help with their community help program on April 24. Our water main has been shut off since a pipe started leaking and the team was instrumental in getting a hole dug to find the leak. They dug down 3 ft which was no easy task given the dry weather. They also weeded the garden.
Today another community service guy (Matt) who knows about plumbing etc has offered to fix the pipe. Funny how things come together in times of need.

Kemon Jackson, Ryan Cheesman, Komari Owen’s, Cedric Mills, Elijah Brotherns, coach Thomas Pearson, Charles Bright, Johnius Ward, and CJ James. I’m not sure their names correctly spelled so apologies if not.

We pay tribute to Doug Irwin, the legendary guitar maker who built instruments for Jerry Garcia. Irwin was a master craftsman, a visionary, and someone who dedicated his life to his work. His guitars were never just instruments, they were built with intention, precision, and soul, becoming part of the music and the artists who played them. Irwin joined the Great Jam in the Sky at the age of 76.

Beyond Description. . .

This year, we got some new music from Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia! The new release from the Jerry Garcia Band, "Live at The Warfield," celebrates a magical three-night run at Warfield Theatre. The release is a 6-CD set featuring shows from February 28th, March 1st, & March 2nd, 1991. Newly mastered from soundboard recordings and features every note from all six complete sets!

Throughout the year, the shows were released on vinyl. Live at The Warfield: February 28th, 1991 was released in August. The release presents the complete opening night of a 3-show run at the JGB's beloved home in the Bay area pressed to 4-LPs.

The second show, March 1st, 1991, was released as a 4-LP set in September.

The release date for the third show, March 2nd, 1991, is December 2nd. The 5-LP set closes out the run on a high note, with the Jerry Garcia Band raising the roof on the old place. The night flows front to back through heartfelt ballads like "I Shall Be Released" - which we will hear in the program.
