Pueblo — you asked, we listened!
Starting November 1st, we’re launching a Pay It Forward Pizza program to support those who may be impacted by not receiving SNAP benefits.

Here’s how it works:

🍕 Want to help?
You can purchase a Pay It Forward Pizza online or in person for $15. No pizza will be made at the time of purchase …instead, we’ll place a prepaid pizza ticket on our community board for someone in need to claim.

🍕 Need a meal?
If you are currently using SNAP benefits, you can call or stop in and ask if donated Pay It Forward pizzas are available. When picking up a Pay It Forward pizza, a valid SNAP card will be required.
Our pizzas take 35–40 minutes to cook, so please plan for that time…we want every pie to go out hot and fresh!
If there are no prepaid pizzas available, you can still purchase a discounted large cheese pizza for $15.
📦 This program is take-out only
🧀 This offer applies to our regular large cheese pizzas only…no substitutions, additional toppings, or gluten-free options are included.

We want to make sure everyone knows:
Our large pizzas are HEARTY… they feed 4–6 adults (or a bunch of hungry kids!), making it roughly $3 per person for a full, satisfying meal.

We saw some comments saying you can get a Little Caesars pizza for less…and that’s true! We love Little Caesars…but our pizzas are simply built differently. One of our large pizzas is comparable in size to three of theirs. No disrespect…just making sure everyone understands the value!

As many of you may know, the current government shutdown has begun impacting families across the country who are unable to access their SNAP dollars. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has not released the funds that states use to pay SNAP (food assistance) benefits. This means Colorado is currently unable to issue the approximately $120 million of November SNAP benefits to participants until the federal government restores funding. Our community is feeling the impacts of this, and Pueblo Food Project and our community partners are here to support.
