On Monday, Karla Carlock, the mother of Rain Reece, came to share her story with the PMS students for fentanyl awareness during Red Ribbon Week, as well as Melissa Baptiste, mother of Jeffery Baptiste, who passed from fentanyl poisoning.

Rain's law requires all Oklahoma schools to teach fentanyl overdose prevention and drug poisoning awareness in memory of Rain.

Thank you to Karla Carlock and Melissa Baptiste for coming and sharing such a powerful message.

A special thank you to Officer Fisher with GRDA Police for speaking to our PHS leadership classes today about all things safety: cyber safety, personal safety, boating safety and so much more! Also how cool is the 'digital footprint' artwork that they lined the hall with, sharing safety tips with their peers!
