Virtual lunchtime Talk Saves Lives presentation on Tuesday, October 27 from 12:00 - 1:00pm CST, and I’d love for you to join me!

Talk Saves Lives is an introductory su***de prevention program for general adult audiences. We’ll talk about warning signs, risk and protective factors, and practical ways we can recognize when someone may be struggling and connect them with support. You don’t have to be a mental health professional to make a difference. We can all play a role in preventing su***de, and sometimes that starts with simply learning more.

This presentation is open to anyone, regardless of where you live. We will include some resources and information specific to the Enid and northwest Oklahoma area, but you’re welcome to join us from anywhere!

If you’ve been wanting to learn more about su***de prevention or find ways to make a difference in your community, I hope you’ll take your lunch break with us!

2026 OTI Scholarships Available for Families & Youth

The Oklahoma Pathways to Partnerships (OP2P) grant is offering scholarships to help families and youth to attend the 2026 Oklahoma Transition Institute (OTI) on October 6-7, 2026 at the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City. Please share this opportunity and flyer (in Comments) with families and youth in your networks. The scholarship application link https://forms.gle/fcMbXWx3NbsXWc4r9 is open through September 25, 2026.

Youth who attend OTI with their school, agency, or program may qualify for a free registration code. Teachers, service providers, or program directors who plan to bring youth should email .[email protected] to request a registration code before registering their students/youth. Travel and hotel expenses cannot be reimbursed to schools, agencies, or programs.
