This month’s book recommendation comes from Ryan Krajewski. He recommends "The Go-Giver: A Little Story About a Powerful Business Idea” by Bob Burg and John David Mann. Ryan says, “In addition to being one of my favorites, I think it builds nicely on several of our past selections… It’s a short, easy-to-read parable built around a simple but somewhat counterintuitive idea: that the best way to get ahead may be to spend less time thinking about what we can get and more time thinking about the value we can give to others. The principles in this book struck a chord with me when I first read it. You may agree with them, disagree with them, or find some more practical than others. I think that’s what should make for a good discussion. I hope you enjoy it.”

This month’s book recommendation comes from Jake Benson. He recommends "Together We Decide: An Essential Guide For Making Good Group Decisions" by Craig Freshley. Jake says, “With the meetings I attend and the work I do this book covers ways to create better conversations together that lead to good collaborative decisions for all.” Jake also adds, “Then, of course, there are newspapers. I read a lot of those.”

This month’s book recommendation comes from Sherri Johnson. She recommends "Angela’s Ashes" by Frank McCourt. Sherri says, “I selected this title because it's a memoir that is informative on many levels and manages to be entertaining in the midst of continual hardships and struggles. It's the kind of read that sticks to your memory. An added bonus is that the audiobook version is read by the author who has a lovely Irish brogue.”

This month’s book recommendation comes from Christy Strohm. She recommends "Theo of Golden" by Allen Levi. Christy says, “This book quickly became one of my favorites. I loved it so much that as I got close to the end, I actually slowed down just to stay in the story a little longer. I even went back a couple of chapters because I wasn’t ready to let the storyline go.” She shares, “'Theo of Golden' is about a quiet mysterious stranger who arrives in a small town and begins a simple act of anonymous kindness. What unfolds is a beautiful ripple effect of connection, healing, and reflection on what it means to really see one another. It kinda made me think about towns like Proctor where people cross paths every day but we oftentimes don't know each other’s stories. If you’re looking for a meaningful read (or if you prefer to listen- the narration is excellent), I highly recommend 'Theo of Golden'.”
