Take a look at the progress so far—we love seeing this wall come to life!

We’ll continue adding plaques as photos are submitted and received, making this display a growing tribute to the athletes who have gone on to compete at the next level.

We know it’s been a little while since our last update, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy behind the scenes!

Today we’re excited to share that the Collegiate Wall, proudly sponsored by Holiday Inn Express Hermantown, is currently being installed at NorthStar Ford Arena.

Projects like this are a great reminder that the arena is more than just a building—it’s the result of partnerships, generosity, and a shared commitment to creating something special for our community.

A huge thank you to Holiday Inn Express Hermantown for their support and investment in the future of NorthStar Ford Arena.

We’re officially in love with our new home. 💙

Take a look inside NorthStar Ford Arena in this incredible video created by DSGW Architecture.

This facility was built for our community — with two sheets of ice, incredible spectator seating, modern locker rooms, and spaces designed for athletes, families, and fans to gather.

The Arena Legacy Fund is still welcoming sponsors who want to be part of this legacy. From signage and video board opportunities to seats and donor recognition, there are still ways for businesses and families to be part of the story.

🎥 Watch the video below and see why we’re so proud of this space.

Today is one of the many reasons why this project mattered.

Our new video wall at NorthStar Ford Arena not only serves as a scoreboard and advertising platform, bringing in revenue for the arena, but today we are streaming the first Mirage 2026 State Tournament game — and the energy in the building is electric!⚡️

Families, fans, and community members are gathering together to cheer them on in real time — even when they’re competing miles away.

This space was built for moments like this. For community. For pride.

This is what investment in community infrastructure looks like. This is legacy in action.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made this possible.

Thank you to every donor, sponsor, and supporter who helped bring this vision to life. You didn’t just help build an arena — you built a gathering place. 💙💛

What an incredible weekend at the arena! 🏒✨

The Arena Legacy Fund would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our community, sponsors, volunteers, and planning groups who continue to show up with unwavering support. Because of you, this project has truly been a community effort in every sense of the word.

On Saturday alone, more than 1,200 people walked through the building—touring the space, reconnecting with neighbors, and celebrating what we’ve built together.

Special thanks to the Arena Legacy Fund Board, the City of Hermantown, our State Representatives Natalie Zeleznekar and Grant Hauschild, the Hermantown Arena Board, Hermantown Amateur Hockey Association, the Hermantown School Board, Northstar Ford Arena Staff, Hermantown Athletics event staff, our dedicated volunteers, our friends at DSGW and Kraus-Anderson, and our incredible sponsors who helped bring this vision to life.

From early planning meetings to the final details, every contribution mattered. This arena exists because of you—and it will serve athletes, families, and our community for generations to come. 💙
