Good-paying jobs. Lower energy costs for taxpayers. Reduced emissions in federal buildings.

That's what the Federal Mechanical Insulation Act (S. 4312) delivers — and that's why Insulators delegates made their voices heard during the 2026 Legislative Conference.

With the Senate companion bill now introduced by . Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) and Daines (R-MT), and the House bill already on the suspension calendar, momentum is building.

Shout out and thank you to the Carpenters Training Institute. Their members are currently building out a new office space inside our training facility to support our apprenticeship coordinator, and the quality of work speaks for itself.
Great example of what solidarity looks like in action - skilled union trades working together to strengthen training, support the next generation, and invest in the building trades shared future.
When we work together, WE ALL MOVE FORWARD
