🎄❤️ A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO AMIEN DULIO ❤️🎄
We would like to offer a warm and heartfelt THANK YOU to Amien Dulio, our outgoing 2025 Powhatan Christmas Mother!
From the very beginning, Amien poured her heart, energy and enthusiasm into this incredible role. She worked tirelessly throughout the year — from helping secure a temporary home for the Christmas Mother program, to organizing the first-ever Powhatan Christmas Mother Pickleball Tournament, and showing up for a million events, appearances, fundraisers and last-minute scrambles to help fulfill every wish she could.
Her theme for the year, “A Village Full of Good,” truly became more than words. Amien lived it. She connected with our community, inspired generosity and reminded us all of the extraordinary things that can happen when a village comes together with open hearts.
Amien, thank you for your countless hours, your unwavering dedication, your creativity, your joy and, most of all, your genuine love for the people of Powhatan. You have left an incredible mark on the Christmas Mother program and on this community we are so fortunate to call home.
Thank you for showing us just how good a village can be. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Fairview Farm Events for hosting their Second Annual Garden Party, with proceeds benefiting Powhatan Christmas Mother and Powhatan Food Pantry.

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating community, kindness, and generosity together. From the delicious food and refreshing beverages to the unique shopping opportunities, exciting raffles, and the always-entertaining Most Original Hat Stroll, every detail helped create a truly special event.

The afternoon would not have been possible without the incredible support of the sponsors, vendors, and volunteers who generously gave their time, talents, and resources to make the day such a tremendous success.

Events like these beautifully showcase the spirit of Powhatan and remind us what can be accomplished when a community comes together to support neighbors in need.

🚨FAMILY IN NEED🚨

The Powhatan Christmas Mother is reaching out to our wonderful community on behalf of a local family who was involved in a devastating automobile accident last month. As their loved ones return home, the family is in urgent need of a temporary wheelchair ramp for approximately one month, until a permanent ramp can be built. If anyone has a portable or temporary ramp they would be willing to lend, it would greatly ease this family’s transition and recovery during an incredibly difficult time.
