The Powhatan Christmas Mother program provides gifts and meets needs for community members in need.

The Powhatan Christmas Mother program serves children 18 and under, seniors 60 and over, as well as anyone receiving disability benefits through Social Security or the Veterans Administration. To qualify for the Christmas Mother program, applicants must live within Powhatan County, and the household income must fall within 250% of the federal poverty guidelines. We will begin accepting applications for Christmas assistance on Wednesdays (5-7pm) and Saturdays (10am-1pm) in October starting on October 5th. Questions about this process can be directed to the Christmas Every Day Committee at 804-337-1346 or [email protected].
