🚨FAMILY IN NEED🚨

The Powhatan Christmas Mother is reaching out to our wonderful community on behalf of a local family who was involved in a devastating automobile accident last month. As their loved ones return home, the family is in urgent need of a temporary wheelchair ramp for approximately one month, until a permanent ramp can be built. If anyone has a portable or temporary ramp they would be willing to lend, it would greatly ease this family’s transition and recovery during an incredibly difficult time.

While we were so very grateful to have found temporary space for this season, we‘re still searching for a permanent home. For now, we’re packing up for our next big move back to storage and really hoping that 2026 finds us moving one last time into a forever home for the holidays!

From our temporary headquarters packed to the rafters before pick-up, to completely cleared out after, it’s amazing what happens when a community comes together. In between—our incredible Christmas Mother Elves working tirelessly as families and seniors arrive to pick up their gifts, smiles, and a little extra holiday joy. 🎄❤️
Another season of helping bring the magic of Christmas to Powhatan is just about wrapped up, and we are filled with gratitude.
THANK YOU to everyone who made this possible—those who adopted families or seniors, chose angels from the angel trees, participated in community drives, donated gifts, money, or time, and especially to our Christmas Mother Elves who have worked behind the scenes for months to make it all happen.
This is what community looks like. This is Christmas magic. ✨
