A great time with fellow rowers and some friendly competition, followed by a potluck with our neighbors at Bainbridge Island Rowing. KRA participated in several scrimmages today and despite the absence of sun, it was a terrific morning.

LEARN TO ROW
Tempted to try rowing?

KRA hosts multiple Learn To Row classes throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

Learn to Row classes are a great introduction to the sport and a chance to experience time on the water. Each class consists of five sessions: one on-land session on Wednesday evening, one on-land and one on-water sessions the following Saturday, and two on-water sessions that Sunday.

ON-LAND sessions take place in the Mt View Room of the Poulsbo First Lutheran Church; 6:00 to 8:30 pm (Wednesday) and 7:00 to 9:30 am (Saturday)

The ON-WATER sessions are held on Saturday (10:00 am to 12:30 pm) and Sunday (7:00 am to 12:30 pm); starting times may vary due to weather, in which case students will be advised. Class will launch shells from the KRA dock located within the Port of Poulsbo.

The goal of KRA Learn to Row is to teach you the basics of rowing so that you would be prepared to row with any club and enjoy the health and social benefits of rowing as a lifetime pursuit.
