As one of the units in the national pilot, we are excited to see our efforts support this new chapter for Scouting America!

This announcement was published by Scouting America yesterday. Chief Seattle Council has been an active participant of the Scouts BSA Family Troop pilot and after a review of the results from units nation wide, Scouts BSA Troops will have the option of becoming a Scouts BSA Family Troop after December 15th.

There will be a process to complete this option with unit charter partners approval. Chief Seattle Council will be supporting units interested in implementing this option in the future and will sending out more information in the next few weeks.

Our scouts are excited to be marching in Poulsbo Veterans Day Parade and supporting our community today! We hope to see you downtown today as we honor our Veterans!

Join us on Tuesday, November 11th to honor the brave men and women who have served our country in Poulsbo’s third annual Veteran’s Day Parade!

Gather around Front Street at 11:11am and to enjoy the parade, music, and festivities with the whole family!
