We are looking for a 5th/6th Grade teacher to join our outdoor, homeschool enrichment program on a farm. We support homeschool students and families in their individual learning paths. Through unit studies and seasonal inspiration we explore hands-on ways to learn math, language, science and art. Multiage classes foster mentoring and mentee opportunities across the classes. We believe a strong community and high integrity environment is the best support for learners.
Expectations:
*Collaborate with teachers to build curriculum and lesson plans for the year.
*Create a positive and supportive classroom culture.
*Support the emotional well being and academic growth of each student.
*Communicate with parents about lessons and students' growth.
*Participate in staff meetings and events.
*Inspire learners!
Part Time
8:15-12:30pm, M-TH.
1-2 Additional afternoons from 12:30-2:30pm.
Opportunities for additional pay for running workshops or camps for kids or adults.
$28-$30/hr
