There’s lots to catch up on and fill everybody in on how things have been going since we removed 70 cats from this home in Minersville, that was condemned.

I just wanna say thank you for the amazing support we have gotten from the community with multiple the rescues and just all the people that have been involved with helping us care for these cats on initial intake with 43 at the hospital and 27 at my personal home.

I I will give more of an update when I get to a point that I can breathe and sit back and look at what we’ve done to help these cats. There’s so much things to be given to rescues and organizations and so many people, family and friends that have helped.

Thank you, thank you thank you thank you, and we will give you more updates when things settle down and kind of go back to a normal level of operating at River Run Vet Hospital and Forever Home Animal Rescue.

When 70+ cats came into our care, we were honest with ourselves — it was overwhelming. For a small nonprofit like ours, taking in that many animals at once has stretched us in every direction. But the outpouring of love and support from this community has meant more to us than we can put into words. Thank you. From the bottom of our hearts.

A Community We’ll Never Forget ❤️🐾

We honestly don’t have enough words to express how grateful we are for our incredible community. Since taking in 70+ cats from a hoarding situation on Tuesday, the outpouring of love, support, donations, messages, and prayers has been absolutely overwhelming. ❤️

These cats have a long road ahead of them. They need veterinary care, medications, food, clean bedding, and lots and lots of love. We could not do this without you.

THANK YOU to every single person who has donated, shared our posts, sent supplies, checked on us, offered encouragement, or simply kept these cats in your thoughts. Every bit of support makes a difference. 🐾

We are still desperately in need of:
🐱 Wet & dry cat food
🧺 Cat litter
🛏️ Towels & blankets
❤️ Monetary donations to help with their ongoing medical care

And perhaps our biggest need right now is volunteers. We need extra hands to help care for these cats, clean, feed, scoop litter boxes, provide fresh water, and keep up with the mountain of laundry these 70+ cats have created. 🧺🐾

If you can spare just a couple of hours a week, we would be incredibly grateful for your help. You don't have to be an animal expert—just having an extra set of caring hands means the world to us and to these cats.

This is a huge undertaking, but we know we aren't doing it alone. Our community has shown us just how powerful compassion can be. ❤️

📣 Please continue to help spread the word of our situation. We are still in crisis mode. 📣

⭐️ One of our greatest needs at this time is VOLUNTEERS. Our remaining 50+ cats need food, water and fresh litter boxes and beds at least 2 times a day. We really need YOU! Even 1 or 2 hours a week in the morning or evening could help take the load off some of our current volunteers. ⭐️

🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP — 70+ CATS NEED US NOW! 🚨

Forever Home Animal Rescue is facing one of the biggest challenges we have ever taken on. We recently took in 70+ cats from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, and these cats desperately need care, compassion, and a safe place to heal. ❤️🐾

We cannot do this alone. We desperately need VOLUNTEERS! 🙏

Our biggest need right now is helping with the daily care of these cats, including:
🐱 Cleaning litter boxes
🐱 Feeding and providing fresh water
🐱 Cleaning their living spaces
🐱 Helping with laundry
🐱 Spending time with the cats and helping them feel safe and loved

Even if you can only give us a few hours a week, it would make an incredible difference. Every volunteer helps us give these cats the care they deserve.

🧺 WE ALSO NEED SUPPLIES!

We are especially in need of:

• Stainless steel bowls with FLAT bottoms
• Cat food
• Cat litter
• Blankets
• Towels
• Cleaning supplies

And then there is the enormous veterinary bill. 💔

Many of these cats require veterinary examinations, bloodwork, vaccinations, medications, dental work, spay/neuter surgeries, and other medical care. For some of them, their medical needs will be ongoing for quite some time.

💰 We desperately need donations to help cover the cost of their veterinary care. Every $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can give adds up and directly helps these cats get the medical attention they need.

These 70+ cats have already been through more than they ever should have. They didn't choose this situation. They deserve a chance at a healthy, happy life. ❤️

Evaluated 43 today, placed 18 with other rescues. 28 still needing evaluation and treatments.
