National Night Out in Tobyhanna Township was a huge success! Thanks to all of the First Responders and Township officials who organized such a great event. The Highway Safety Network made some great connections and supplied traffic safety information across the board. It was an awesome event!

What a fantastic evening at Shenandoah’s National Night Out! 🚓🚑🚒🍦🌭
It was wonderful seeing so many families, and local partners come together to celebrate community, safety, and unity. Huge thank you to Shenandoah Borough Police Department, first responders, fire companies, and community organizations who dedicated their time to make this event such a success.

NNO is a great reminder to always give emergency vehicles extra space.

The Highway Safety Network was at the Iron Pigs game yesterday for Motorcycle Day! Motorcycles got to cruise around the field before game time. We handed out a ton of motorcycle and other traffic safety materials and cool giveaways! It was a great event!!!

Stay safe around big rigs:
🔹 Pass quickly—don't linger in blind spots.
🔹 Never cut in close in front of a truck.
🔹 Give them extra space on wide turns.

We all know that big trucks and buses take longer to stop, but they require extra room to do so safely. Never cut in front of these vehicles too closely. Let's give them the space they need to keep our roads safe!
