COGI SPOTlight is an outreach team with a goal of meeting individuals where they are in the community and providing Harm Reduction materials and resources to assist individuals suffering from substance use disorder. Comprised of individuals who are currently in sustained recovery as well as individuals who completed treatment at COGI and our staff go out to speak with individuals about how to help someone get into treatment, explain services offered, and provide resources such as meetings, inpatient and outpatient treatment providers, as well as access to Narcan and Drug Testing Strips. Addiction has no prejudice and our goal is to help remove the Stigma and any other barriers to treatment that an individual may experience. Team Members who are / were receiving treatment at COGI share their experience and can relate on a peer-to-peer level.

Watch for COGI SPOTlight to be out in the next month or so. We are also planning events for International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31st and National Save A Life Day on September 24th!
