Please consider picking up a case of water or Gatorade during your regular shopping trip and dropping by the First Responders Water and Gatorade donation trailer that will be at the Good Will Fire Company on June 7-13th. Your First Responders will thank you during those hot summer days. All donations will benefit Good Will Steam Fire Engine Company #1 of Pottstown, Pottstown Fire Dept and Good Will Ambulance

Many thanks to the many hands who helped make today’s Memorial Day ceremony so meaningful. We had a great turnout and truly honored those veterans who are no longer with us. Special thanks to Good Will Steam Fire Engine Company #1 of Pottstown for hosting us at the last minute.

CANCELLED - Unfortunately we’ve had to cancel the Pottstown Memorial Day parade. The forecast is for more rain and the conditions aren’t favorable for a parade. Please join us tomorrow at 10:30 at Goodwill Fire Company 714 E High St for a solemn ceremony to honor local veterans.

Please join us for our annual ceremony to honor the Revolutionary War soldiers resting at Ellis Woods Cemetery. 🇺🇸

Please note the following volunteer opportunities to help the Joint Veterans Organization. Families & friends are invited & encouraged to come.
• Saturday 05/09 0800-1200 clean up Veterans Island, 251 Manatawny St Pottstown. Basically, pick up trash, spread mulch, etc. Bring gloves, rakes, etc.
• Saturday 05/16 0800 join American Legion Post 244 in placing flags on deceased veterans’ graves. Highland Memorial, 701 Farmington Ave Pottstown. This is the biggest cemetery in this area, with 2500+ veterans buried there.
• Sunday 05/17 0800 join Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 565 in placing flags on deceased veterans’ graves St Al’s Cemetery 800 block of Buchert Rd Pottstown.
• Wednesday 05/20 1000 join Daughters of the American Revolution in placing flags on deceased veterans’ graves. Edgewood Cemetery 989 E High St Pottstown.
