We are praising God for all of you, our donors and alumni who have given to FoundationONE during this $1 Million matching challenge! The 3 newest named scholarship funds have grown to a combined total of nearly $300,000 in just 2 months! Thank you to all who have chosen generosity towards our UCA students and their families in these financially challenging times!
The following message we received from a single Mom reminds us why the mission of FoundationONE is more critical than ever.
Dear FoundationONE,
It is so humbling to see how God has shown His watch care and love, year after year, to me and my two boys through UCA. The last 2 years have been incredibly painful, difficult, & crushing personally. However, I see that the Lord is fighting for my children. God’s work in our lives is a beautiful testimony to His love & goodness.
I want to thank FoundationONE from the bottom of my heart for their help on behalf of my sons. Without your support I would not have been able to make it as a single mom. When I look back at how God has provided for my boy’s education through FoundationONE I am reminded of the passage from Matthew 6:25-34 that I’ve shared below. You all have blessed us more than you know. Thank you for being the hands & feet of Jesus.
““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:25-34
