We are praising God for all of you, our donors and alumni who have given to FoundationONE during this $1 Million matching challenge! The 3 newest named scholarship funds have grown to a combined total of nearly $300,000 in just 2 months! Thank you to all who have chosen generosity towards our UCA students and their families in these financially challenging times!
The following message we received from a single Mom reminds us why the mission of FoundationONE is more critical than ever.

Dear FoundationONE,
It is so humbling to see how God has shown His watch care and love, year after year, to me and my two boys through UCA. The last 2 years have been incredibly painful, difficult, & crushing personally. However, I see that the Lord is fighting for my children. God’s work in our lives is a beautiful testimony to His love & goodness.

I want to thank FoundationONE from the bottom of my heart for their help on behalf of my sons. Without your support I would not have been able to make it as a single mom. When I look back at how God has provided for my boy’s education through FoundationONE I am reminded of the passage from Matthew 6:25-34 that I’ve shared below. You all have blessed us more than you know. Thank you for being the hands & feet of Jesus.

““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. The $1 million matching challenge has inspired another named scholarship!
This one is in honor of a beloved UCA music teacher, Lois Coleman-Hall. She was on the staff at UCA from 1950-52, and was greatly loved by her students.

We're excited to announce a brand new named scholarship - the Leroy and Rose Jacobus Family Scholarship Fund! Leroy and Rose were long-time members of the UCA Church family, and had a great love for students. Their fund has been established by the family of Leroy and Rose, and will provide funds for students from single-income families, and those where one parent is unwilling to pay for a Christian education for their children.

Yesterday the final ring on the 3rd water tower was poured, and tomorrow they plan to pour the lid. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!

The 1st and 2nd towers could be filled by mid-November, and after its 28-day waiting period the 3rd tower will be cured and ready to fill. By early December the system could be fully functioning!

And because people have asked about how long it will take to fill a tower, here is a good estimate based on the facts:
-Each tower holds basically 166,000 gallons, for a total of 497,500 gallons between the three.
-UCA's 2 wells each put out 100 gallons/minute, so if a water tower is filled at night, when the water usage on campus is minimal, it could take about 14 - 15 hours to fill the one tank.

Early this morning they poured the “lid” on tower #2, and now they’re pouring the foundation for tower #3. The progress is steady, and before the end of October the first tower can be filled with water. By Thanksgiving all three could be filled and ready to use.
A great reason to give thanks to God, and to all of our alumni and donors who have supported this project!
Please join us in praying about how we can each contribute to cover the remaining cost of this project. We have $1.32 million raised, but the final cost is now estimated at more than $1.75 million because of increases in costs.
$400,000 may seem like a lot, but if we all give what we can, we can reach this goal together.

As we handed out FoundationONE Grants at UCA Registration Day it was filled with many emotional moments, because several families had experienced financial challenges over the summer. As a consequence of those changes several families were considering withdrawing their students from UCA, but before any of us knew it, God was already answering their prayers for help! Because of His blessing on the FoundationONE endowment over this past year, we were able to provide $60,000 more than originally anticipated, which enabled these struggling families to receive much more in aid than had originally been awarded. Two short stories will suffice to show how God used these extra funds to answer their prayers:

One father who has 2 children at UCA said that the extra amount we provided exactly made up for what they had lost because of financial challenges. God is so good!

The morning after registration we got a call from a local pastor who told us about how when one of his families learned the week before registration that “an organization” had provided $4,000 in aid for their son to attend UCA, the mother jumped around the kitchen, half crying - half shrieking with delight, and eventually ended up her husband’s arms, crying with gratitude that their son could attend UCA. But the 2nd reason the pastor called me was because, since learning of our $4,000 award, the family had decided to enroll one of their four sons in their local SDA school, which changed their financial position considerably. So when they arrived on registration day at our table and found out we had awarded them an extra $2,000, she would have broken down crying, except they were in a crowd of strangers. We had seen that she had tears in her eyes, but knew none of this story until their pastor called us Monday morning. It is so exciting to see how God works to provide for the needs of His children when they seek to honor Him and sacrifice to put their children in schools where the love of Jesus is invited, welcomed and freely shared! Thank you to all who support and promote the work of this God-inspired foundation!

Over the fiscal year 24-25 God abundantly blessed FoundationONE, enabling us to provide almost $360,000 in financial to UCA this coming 25-26 school year. Last Sunday at registration we gave out over 1/4 million dollars in FoundationONE grants to very grateful students and parents. As we saw the emotion and tears in many parents' eyes, we were in awe of a God who inspired four alumni 21 years ago to begin this endowment for the sole purpose of ensuring that no student is turned away from UCA because of finances. We praise God for His faithfulness over these past 21 years!!

Today the third ring is being poured on the first tower! We praise God for all our donors who have made this possible. By the end of this week, 5 of the 6 levels of this tower should be poured.
Please be praying for the remaining $450,000 in funding can must be met, and consider how you can help in finishing this critical project.
