Empower Beauty info night recap, and what we are looking for immediately:

We had the most amazing turn out, and those that showed up showed up. They didn’t come lackadaisical, they came to learn. They all had an amazing story, and a mission. One that aligned with ours. Empower Beauty is gearing up for some exciting endeavors, as we do that we are looking for 3 more board positions to be filled. If this is you, or you know of someone; spread the news or message me!

Empower Beauty. There is nothing that stirs my heart more. There is nothing that makes me work harder. There is nothing that brings me to tears more then what our youth is facing, and how they view themselves. What if, we came together as a community and launched these workshops big, and small… and as many as we can. Reaching all corners. All teens. I have received SO much support in the last 24 hours. I am so overwhelmed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! Many of you are asking how you can get involved. I am planning a get together in March that will go over the many ways, in the meantime I will leave these ways below. We have a few pretty incredible workshops for some pretty deserving teens in the works, and welcome any sponsors! Thank you!!!

Empowering our youth to be confident in themselves thru epic workshops? Igniting a fire within them to be the CHANGE. Yes please. Partnering with our awesome community to reach all corners, reaching one group at a time. Yup. That’s my jam. If this is a non-profit you could get behind. There are many ways, and it takes a village. I would love to chat. 💓

The problem is- teens are surrounded with many false realities, one shoe fits all snap chat filters. At Empower Beauty workshops, our mission is to remind them that they are uniquely, and wonderfully made. That they SHOULD be different then their best friend, and own it with confidence. The world needs more workshops. To reach all teens. I believe in this with my whole heart. More empowerment will never be a waste.

There is no gift greater then another. You were created on purpose, and for a purpose. With uniqueness. Own it. Rock it. Be confident in it.

Hello 👋🏻 My name is Evelyn Mauro, and I am the founder of Empower Beauty! The reason why I founded this non-profit was I wanted to create a space where everyone feels wanted, and loved. That’s Empower Beauty. Life is so hard. Everyone deserves that at least, but it seems so many are lost... and feel such terrible things about themselves. I’ve been there. It’s so hard. I’ve had instances where I have felt isolated. Felt like I wasn’t good enough. Felt picked on. Being a women is hard. It’s my mission to be a light to as many teens, and women as I can in this dark world. To remind them that being unique is their secret sauce. Give them tools to author their own story, and ignite a fire within them to be the change. This is just one way we can parter together to create positive change. ❤️

Thank you o"Yesterday marked something truly special. The first Daughters of the King event was fire. God was so there, and carried out the event exactly the way it was supposed to be. 46 tickets sold, and I know this is just the beginning. One of my favorite moments at the end, was a sweet girl came up and just hugged me. Then she said “Evelyn thank you so much, can we do this every Sunday ?“ My heart melted. I’ll always remember that moment. I have so much to be thankful for, and so many to thank. Glory be to God."
