JACC is VERY excited to open a new show this coming Saturday, October 17th titled "Oh The Place's We Will GO"! JACC boasts 2 gallery spaces with main show upstairs and our featured artist in the downstairs gallery "Fireside Room" is Member Artist: Priscilla Patterson with her aviation pieces.

Living in Alaska for nearly 25 years, and married to a US Fish & Wildlife pilot, my art mostly
revolved around two major subjects: Aviation and bears.
During our time there, my husband flew extensively with biologists studying the habits and
habitat of the Kodiak brown bears. With that came a whole new career as an aviation artist. I
was accepted into the American Society of Aviation Artists in 1994, served as their education
chair for 20 years, and over time achieved status as an Artist Fellow member.
When we traveled, in and out of Alaska, I photographed aircraft, and it is from those photos
that these paintings were created. Each painting has a history and a connection for me to the
aircraft and the journey during which it was photographed.
Since moving to Idaho, I’ve rediscovered my love of horses, and you will find me riding at Post
Falls Equestrian Center, sponsoring the Kootenai County Saddle Club at the Fairgrounds, or at
the North Idaho Fair photographing draft horses and rodeo riders.
It’s a full life.

The Divas are back, and this show is everything you’ve always wanted to know about them, and then some. Think of it as a trip to the confessional, with reflections, admissions, and a few revelations as the Divas dish on themselves. Who she is, what she said, and she did what?!

It might get a little provocative. It will definitely be revealing. And as always, you can count on great music, soulful songs, and funny, funky stories that deliver a message without preaching.

World class opera tenor, Steve Thoreson has been living in Europe,

he is on a brief visit in the northwest before traveling to South America.

Andre Feriante, Italian guitarist, 40 years of performing, studied with

Andres Segovia in Spain in 1983. Flamenco fusion, world music, and vocals.

Steve Thoreson, North Bend Native, World-Class Opera Singer, performed

in 20 countries, winner of Sweden's Got Talent.

Eric Fridrich, A Chcago Blues artist, guitar, harmonic and vocals, has

performed across the US, including with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer

JACC would like to introduce Member Artist Rebecca Anderson who is known for her powerful bronze sculptures. Her professional art studio, located in the Pacific Northwest, is the origin of numerous bronze sculptures, paintings, dimensional installations and stained glass creations. Rebecca’s impact and inspiration ripples on through the students she instructed and mentored while teaching in the CDA School District.

Born and raised in North Dakota, Rebecca grew up riding the garden fence with borrowed couch cushions for “saddle” and shoe lace “bridle” until her parents agreed to buy her a horse. She soon learned that the back of a horse was the place to be.

Rebecca finds her home in the mountains near Coeur d’Alene, where deer, elk, and moose are frequent visitors supplying a wealth of subject matter for her 3-dimensional sculpting.

These sculptures that she creates represent our companions in life and she has learned to give each creature a voice to tell their story.
