So many great show ‘n tell quilts at our October meeting!

Run, don’t walk, to the New England Quilt Museum to see the amazing appliqué quilts by Bobbie Korengold and friends. You won’t be disappointed. A few members of our guild were lucky enough to enjoy a guided tour of the exhibit.

If you come to our quilt show next May you will get to vote for your favorite mini quilt reminding everyone not to touch them! We will make more over the next few months, but here are the first few entries. 🧵🪡

Join us next week for a very special panel with live demos of appliqué techniques, you won’t want to miss this one!

Guests welcome, no experience required.

Baby quilts made for our quarterly NICU challenge. The challenge was “A Star is Born”, and congratulations to Elaine W for winning the blind voting! Hers is pictured first. 🧵🪡

The best thing about September is reuniting with our quilting friends after our summer break, and look how many new quilts were made during that time! What a creative and encouraging community 🧵🪡💕

Time to finish up that project you’ve been working on so you can bring it in for show ‘n tell!

June is bittersweet for QBS members. We have a fun ice cream social for our last meeting of the guild year, but then we know we won’t get together again until September! This year we got to draw the winner of our raffle quilt (generously donated by Terry D), vote for the 1st and 2nd place winners of the quarterly NICU challenge (congrats Sandy & Barb!) and see a few of the finished quilts from our recent beginner class. Stay tuned for show ‘n tell photos. 🧵🪡

Congratulations to the big winner, Cheryl Ludwig! And huge thanks to Terry (who drew the winning ticket) for making and donating this stunning Rose Alaska quilt.

Did you buy a raffle ticket for this quilt? We will draw the winning ticket at our final meeting of this guild year tonight! Stay tuned for a winner announcement here.
