Day 3 of construction! The fencing and old mulch was removed. The parking lot will be getting larger and the playground will be set further back! The site prep has begun!

Bricks are $250 and will line the walkway at the new playground! Here is how to order :

❤️ Go to our website and make your payment. Www.fourheartsfoundation.com . PayPal has a spot to write a note, you can indicate brick. If you prefer to pay check or cash (we love that too!) please send us a message or mail to PO Box 912, Portsmouth.

❤️ Send us an email at [email protected] (please note the 4, many people leave it out!) This email should state what you would like on the brick. It can be 20 characters . Most people do their family name, business name or children’s names!

❤️ We will send you an email confirmation !

A big thank you to Portsmouth’s DPW for another monumental day for the Four Hearts Foundation.

Today we said goodbye to the sad structure that started a movement!!! The structure that made all of you want to get involved and do better!! We are filled with emotions but mostly , we are so thankful and so excited ❤️

Goodbye Portsmouth Community Playground, until we meet again. 🛝

We are THIS happy EVERYTIME we receive any sort of donation, big or small, because it truly all adds up. So far, it has added up to over $700,000 and we have just a tiny bit to go!!!!

If you have been considering helping… this is my plea to you. Please help. It matters, it helps, it counts. Please consider helping us close the very small gap we have left. We want to build this spring and need your help!

Thank you for all you have already done and all you continue to do. This project has made me believe in the power of small towns and believe again how wonderful it is to be a part of them❤️

We often hear “there’s not much to do for kids”. We have made it our mission to try to change that! We try to support events and host events that help change the family culture on the island.

Jane Pickens is doing just that! We are honored to team up with for their Winterfest! They are kindly showing 3 children’s movies and donating a percentage of the ticket sales to the playground ❤️

We are so grateful to for the honor of being the recipient of their donations from these ticket sales !

Today we teamed up with Mrs.Gills Kindergarten class to honor and celebrate kindness in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

The kids made cards for children hospitalized at , paired it with a toy and helped tie a bow. These gifts will make their way to Hasbro in hopes to put a smile on a child’s face. The idea was inspired by some sweet children in our community who have to visit Hasbro at times ❤️

We talked about the power of kindness and watched a video on Martin Luther King explaining his efforts and that each person has the power to “do good” and make a difference ❤️

We are so proud of the children of our community and we’re so honored to be a part of and sponsor today’s event!

Proud to present Family Open Skate at the Portsmouth Abbey Rink!

Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 2:00pm-3:00pm
$20.00 per house hold admission and all of the proceeds go to build the playground! A huge shoutout to Lance and Mitch Kriner for making this happen❤️ Once again, our community amazes me!

Similar to the old playground, Sunday family open skate at the Abbey remind me of years ago in our town and I’m thrilled to bring it back for a weekend ⛸️🥅

We would love to invite you to our 2nd annual Kids swap. Last year was so wonderful and our hearts were so full watching items go to new homes!!!

We are asking for a $5.00 registration, all proceeds go to Four Hearts Foundation to build a playground.

This will be held at Common Fence Point Community Center. There is a $5.00 registration fee to bring whatever you want and take whatever you want.

Please note:

1. You do not have to bring anything to register and take whatever you want or need.

2. You do not have to take anything if you would like to drop off.

3. You can drop off items as early as 9:00 am on Jan 31st.

4. Please keep in mind these items will be going to another home. We ask that your items are somewhat new and lightly loved. We trust you to use your judgment.

5. By signing up and or showing up you are agreeing that you assume all risk with the items you are taking. You acknowledge that it was a donation that has been passed on to you, at your own will, and you assume risk of use.

6. No car seats or recalled items accepted.

THANK YOU! We did this event last year and it was so lovely to see kids getting new toys and items they need! We are proud to be part of reducing, reusing and recycling for our community.

Every dollar counts and every dollar matters. Some of our favorite donations have come from what people thought was a “small amount” and it adding up to something great. By these types of donations, fundraisers and grants we have raised over $700,000 in less than two years.

Children have hosted lemonade stands, donated thier own piggy banks or chore money. A dollar here or here truly adds up. We would be honored for your couple dollars or cashing in your piggy bank! We promise it matters and we promise it will be worth it.

The last $20,000 — we’re coming for you ❤️🐷
