Had the best time hosting the 2nd grade from at the farm. Beyond frolicking in the sun, the kids learned about the history of the farm, horse care and management, some real life facts about farm composting, and of course time with Cupcake the owner pony.

Grateful is an understatement! Thank you to and the Frederick Henry Prince Memorial Fund for providing Stable Strides with a grant to expand our Take the Lead programs with youth. We were equally honored to receive this grant and to be in the same room with the other remarkable Newport County recipients!

With this funding we will specifically be creating social emotional learning programs for middle school aged youth at the farm with horses. Stay tuned!

Last week we held out first guided meditation with Donita of . No pressure, no expectations, just space to let the day melt away, be present, and reset.

We’re excited build more small, intentional experiences for people looking to reconnect, unwind, or just spend a little time on the farm with the horses.

Join us on April 23rd at Glen Farm Stables for the opening session of our
Mindfulness with the Herd Spring series.

A space to slow down, reconnect, and simply be alongside horses.

This is a ground-based, unmounted experience—no horse experience needed.

We’re excited to be joined by guest co-facilitator Donita Coburn-Amadio, an accredited meditation and mindfulness teacher specializing in Restorative, Trauma-Informed, and Yoga Nidra practices, and a Shamanic Reiki Master.
