We had so much fun at the grand re-opening of Pride Plaza yesterday! Being able to offer our vendors FREE space to sell their goods, while enjoying the company of the community is WHERE WE PLUG IN! Thanks McMenamins Pubs, Breweries & Historic Hotels.

Pride Northwest is launching our 2026–2027 Community Resilience Drive, and this year we’re asking our community to think about connection differently.

Pride is a celebration, but it is also what we build together year-round. It is showing up for our neighbors, supporting grassroots organizations, helping someone stay housed, making sure an elder feels connected, creating opportunities for LGBTQ2SIA+ artists, and making resources easier to reach when they are needed most.

That’s what “Where do you plug in?” is about.

Pride Northwest serves as a conduit, connecting people to resources, organizations to community, and people who want to help with meaningful ways to make an impact. There isn’t just one way to plug in. You can donate. You can volunteer. You can partner with us. You can share resources. You can help someone else find their connection.

Last year, Pride Northwest invested more than $73,000 back into our community through sponsorships, emergency resources, supplies, utility and rental assistance, emergency housing, and other direct support. This year, our Community Resilience Drive has a goal of raising $40,000 to keep that work moving.

Because when we plug into community, we create power.

At this year’s Waterfront Festival, we were proud to make space for a powerful celebration of Latiné Drag Kings. Headlined by Tenderoni, this tribute dazzled the audience. Joy was present. Voices were lifted. A time was had.

“We’re passionate about showcasing different types of art. We’ve been super honored to do Pride [South] stage for many, many years and to bring something different that you don’t always see at Pride,” explained BOYeurism producer Johnny Nuriel . “We don’t always see circus artists at Pride, you don’t get to see a handbalancer, you don’t get to see a tap dancer, or a pole dancer…you don’t get to see these types of artists at Pride and they’ve got pride, too!”

Affable, charismatic and one of a kind, Fortune Feimster is a standup comedian, writer and actor who uses her confessional comedy to bring people together. Through laughter and storytelling, Fortune shows audiences of all ages, backgrounds, and sexual orientations that common ground is only a joke or two away.
