The new Porterville Rescue Mission We encourage all residents to seek gainful employment, attend all court dates, doctor visits and to enroll in school.

We provide emergency food and shelter to our residents, We provide clothing to the needy, We offer spiritual direction and guidance, We assist our clients in obtaining all available state and local entitlements such as SSI, MediCal, Food Stamps, Social Security, Disability etc.. We except court referrals, Ex felons, DUI/ community service clients.We provide restoration and guidance to individuals

so that they may become productive members of society. We offer structure for these men to learn, accountability, responsibility, direction, and counseling. Our staff help our residents live healthier lifestyles also setting them up with short and long term goals.

"Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower. For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.'- James 1:9-11

Humility is not necessarily a bad thing. It helps us to see things ina different pesrpective, because it only means that we avoid evil in order that we may understand the world as we separate ourslves form sin. Those who are rich in the world often seem to fail to realzie the blessings in all of the small things, because they have gotten caught up with what they think they are doing is living a better life. In reality it is the opposite, because what they think is that moeny will slove every problem they have. But what about emotional distress, brokeness, and sin tah tlies within their hearts. You see humility brings peace, love, and joy to what truly matter sin life.

Good moring brothers and sisters. God has blessed us with another beautiful day. Here is a special message for tooday.

"By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.'- 1 Corinthians 3:10-13

Brothers and sisters, we must be careful as to what foundation we lay in our lives. We need to lay a foundation that is firm in Christ so that we may resist the temptations, spiritual attacks, tactics, and lies of Satan. Once we have a solid foundation in Christ, it is up to us to protect it, and reaffirm it. We should strengthen this foundation with the Word of God, and the love of Christ. This is the foundation which cannot be shaken, moved or broken. When we choose to stand alone it is impossible for us to do anything. But when we choose to trust in God, much like Joshua did, we will succeed in everything that we do.

"For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God."- 2 Timothy 1:6-8

Brothers and sisters, one fo the best things we can do in life is depend on teh gift of God. You see, He created us for a specific purpose according to what He has called us to do, adn we do not have all the same gift. Yet it is only in the power of this love that we
receive these gifts in promises that are made in Jesus Christ. However, there ae times where these blessings come in handy, at other times, we may not know how to use them, because they may not be required at the moment. Today, let us figure out how to use these blessings, and trust in God.

Good morning brothers and sisters. God has blessed us with another beautiful day. Here is a special message for today.

"Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.- 2 Corinthians 3:12-18

Brothers and sisters let us always have an open heart and open mind when it comes to the Word of God. The veil that is spoken about here that is placed in our hearts, is because we choose to not have Chrsit in our hearts. See, without love it is impossible for us to listen or to be obedient to the commands of God. In falling in line with all of this, once our hearts become soft, it will be easier for us to be able to understand what God wants us to do.

"Before the coming of this faith,we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed.So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian."- Galatians 3:23-25

Brothers and sisters, did you know that we are no longer subject to the law because Jesus Christ has already set us free? All we have to do is have faith, and trust in Him. What the world sees as right, is really sin. Let us search our motives and find the truth in every situation knowing that it is the only way we will truly be set free. Today, let us stand in the comfort of being full of God's love, and the grace and mercy He has provided for us in Jesus Christ.

"As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance."- 2 Thessalonians 3:1-5

Brothers and sisters, it is important for us to be obedient to God's will, and His word. As we continue to walk in His peace, love, and strength let us never loose hope, but always lean on the fact that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Let us always start with reading this words as we seek Him with all of our heart, and glory, because when we do, we will succeed in everything we do. Paul encourages here the people who have chosen to keep the words of Our Father in there hearts, and who continue to have faith in the promises that will never go away as they persevere knowing the cost of following Jesus Christ, and spreading the gospel of peace.

Good morning brothers and sisters. God has blessed us with another bautiful day. Here is a special message for today.

"They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?” “Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus answered. “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me. No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father."- John 6:42-46

Brothers and sisters, it is impossible to know the Father without knowing the Son. And in order for us do that, we need to talk to Him, read His word, and learn about what He needs us to do as we are obedient to His commands. Jesus followed the things that His Father asked and told Him to, to the tee. So much so that He even died on a cross for our salvation. See, God is always pleased when we are obedient, much like His Son who was also obedient. So today. let us follow the voice of God as we continue to walk in His truth.

Good morning brothers and sisters. God has blessed us with another beautiful day. Here is a special message for today.

"For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it. I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers. But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being."- Galatians 1:13-16

Brothers and sisters, God has predestined each and every single one of us for His greateness, His purpose, and His will. From teh beginning He perfeclty crafted and designed what we are to do, and how we are to do it. Yet at times we choose to do something different in our lives, because we think it is good, or the right thing to do, but in the end we find out that it is not indeed what God had inteded for us. However much like Paul and his encounter, we can do the same. To seek God with all of our heart, mind and soul, to reach the outcome of His perfect plan as we live in Him.

"In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me. Keep me free from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge. Into your hands I commit my spirit; deliver me, Lord, my faithful God."- Psalm 31:1-5


In God's promises He is always faithful, He never lets us down, and He will always be there for us no matter what we do. From the beginning, David had faith, and trust in Him alone, this is part of the reason that He was able to conqueor cities, stand before countless enemies, walk confidently into the unknown, and to fight for what is right. In the same way, we can do the same. We can conqueor our cities when we overcome our issues, stand ebfore our enemy and resist temptation, walk confidently in faith knowing that God is our srtength and honor, and fight for what is right when we help others along the way as we show them the true strength that is in these promises.

"When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.” And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised. People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath"- Hebrews 6:13-17

Brothers and sisters, at the end of the day, God never changes His mind. His pormises, His will, and His plan have remained the same for us since the beginning. It is ourselves that stray from this plan, and purpose when we choose to do something that is contrary to the path that God has set before us to walk. In seeking all of His glory, and all of His goodness, let us remember that we must remain faithful to Him, in order to experience His mysteries, and wonders just like Abraham did when God told Him that His promise was in His son Isaac. It was because of His faith in Abraham that God was able to fulfill His promise.
