This big, beautiful boy Hank was adopted today and his new owners are absolutely thrilled to welcome him home tomorrow! 🎉
Hank is not just gaining a loving family; he’s embarking on a very important journey. He is going to be professionally trained as an epileptic service dog. His incredible new dad has epilepsy, and Hank will be trained to detect and alert to the unique scent—composed of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) like menthone—that humans release before a seizure begins.
After his training, the whole family is moving to the Kentucky countryside! With multiple acres to run on and plenty of snow, it’s going to be the perfect playground for big Hank to live his best life and help keep his dad safe. We are so excited for this amazing new chapter for Hank and his new family. Congratulations! 🐺🩶🤍

Happy Adoption Day, Gunner! 🎉
It's an extra special day at RenegadeRex because Gunner has found his forever home with Brooke and Pete! 🐾 This is a "reunion" of sorts, as the couple adopted Taz from us earlier this year in May.
We couldn't be happier for Gunner. Brooke and Pete are experienced GSD owners and will give him the wonderful life he deserves. Even better, they have a pool for him to splash around in and live just 20 minutes from the ranch!
Congratulations to the happy family on their second adoption! We love seeing our alumni find such perfect matches. 🐺🩶🤎🖤

Let’s talk about Gunner 🐺🤎🖤
This gorgeous 2-year-old German Shepherd is everything a working dog lover could ask for, yet he’s still waiting for his breakthrough.
Surrendered simply because his previous owner didn’t have the time he required-through zero fault of his own-Gunner is ready to make up for lost time.
He has a fantastic medium-high drive and wonderful working energy, but underneath that athletic exterior is a massive softie who is intensely loving, deeply playful, and entirely devoted to his person. He is an exceptional dog in every way, and there is no good reason he hasn’t found his forever family yet.

The ears are popping up! 🚁 This is Orange boy 🍊At 8.5 weeks old, this little one is looking more and more like a proper Malinois every day. 🐾 I’ve decided to hold off on adoptions until November. I’m still waiting for Embark to give me the results unfortunately too. Might of made a mistake by not activating the test before sending it in but dealing with that on the side. The puppies are thriving with their brothers and sisters, and more time with their littermates will help them mature beautifully before they head to their forever homes. November will be here before we know it! Stay tuned for updates on their progress. 🐺🧡

Building working dogs! 🐺 Angie’s 8 week old mals jumping fences already 🩶🖤🤎 these pups are athletes, they have bite and ball drive as well 🦾⚡️momma would be so proud of her babies

I am holding on to them until they are 3 months. I will then revisit the adoption topic. I’ve done research, spoken to vets and Malinois breeders. The best thing I can do at 8 weeks is to not break up the litter. They grow, learn and develop much better with this method. Stabilizing them as youngsters goes a very long way.

Celebrating a fantastic week for our rescue mission! 🐾
We had an amazing time catching up at the kava bar last night. Rexi and June (Bryce’s beautiful white shepherd) hung out for a while. These two get along wonderfully and really complement each other’s demeanors!
This celebratory night was well-deserved after an incredible work week: we officially got 8 dogs adopted and placed this week alone!
A huge thank you to the K9 Vendors like Brooke and Kyle for their continued partnership; Brooke welcomed Thunder and Max just the other day who will be most likely placed within Florida PD’s. Kyle took in Pepper, Carson, Kairo, and Drako who will all be placed in working jobs between PD’s and Personal Protection.
We have more heartwarming updates on them coming later today, so stay tuned!

Angie was picked up this evening, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for this sweet girl. After taking care of her surprise litter of puppies like an absolute rockstar, Angie is officially off to start the next chapter of her life with her wonderful new adopters, complete with a Scottish Terrier sister named Sally and active owners in their 30s!
Despite the rough start and the toll of overbreeding, Angie’s resilient spirit, loving heart, and goofy personality won her the absolute best family. She is so deeply loved and has an amazing, bright future ahead to thrive with everything she does.
Thank you to everyone who supported Angie through her journey here at Renegade Rex K9 Ranch—from her rescue days to raising her beautiful babies. Have the best life, mama! You earned every bit of it. 🐺🤎🖤
