🚨 Greg Hodnett Classic 🚨

Wow!!! The heat was brutal yesterday at Port Royal Speedway but looking past that, what a day!!☀️ Drivers showed up for what was to be night 9 of PA Speedweek until Mother Nature decided to change those plans, and celebrating America’s 250th Birthday!! Thank you to all the fans that showed up in the sweltering heat to support the foundation with the purchases of merchandise and raffle tickets for some pretty cool items to go home with. Shout out to Mike and Jaynee Zeigler who are the geniuses / masterminds that bring my vision to life with the wraps for the boards every year. I cannot thank you both enough for doing this for the foundation. This years boards were absolutely amazing. Mike Heffner, thank you for the donation of Troy Wagaman’s wing panel, it was a great item to have, it was priceless to see the young boy face and excitement when his dad claimed the wing. With the rain ending the evening early we didn’t get a chance to recognize this year’s scholarship recipients:Cameron Strausbaugh and Alexis McKenzie. Congratulations to you both. And sadly we weren’t able to properly honor Greg by getting the race in and presenting the awesome Classic trophy to the winner. Hope to see everyone at the make up date for the race on July 25th!! Again, thank you to everyone for being there yesterday to honor and remember the man we all miss, Greg Hodnett.

Such a great place to be celebrating America’s 250th Birthday on the 9th day of PA Speedweek and if you didn’t already know it’s also the Greg Hodnett Classic tonight! Come out to the track early for the festivities they have planned before the race. We will have merchandise for sale plus some really cool raffle items!!
